"Never Back Down" is a great motivating movie

2008 was a year full of wonderful films. This year, such well-known films as "The Dark Knight", "Slumdog Millionaire", "Iron Man", "We are from the Future" and many, many others were released. In the same year, the American film studio Mandalay Independent Pictures presented the film Never Back Down to the audience. A film about sports and fighting not so much with a real opponent in the ring, but with your anger and inner impulses.

Storyline

The plot of the film "Never Back Down" is built around a young guy named Jack Tyler, whose family moved to the city of Orlando, located in Florida. Jack's poor mother cannot provide him and his brother with the same luxurious life that he sees around. In a new school, a conflict arises with a mixed-fight fighter Ryan on the basis of rivalry and love for one girl. Events push Tyler to the need to learn how to fight, and he begins training under the guidance of former Brazilian MMA fighter Gino Rokua. But don't tell the full story of Never Back Down, as it might discourage some viewers from watching the movie.

The film perfectly reveals the character of the protagonist, his stubbornness, unwillingness to succumb and lose. But over time, Jack comes to understand that retreat, unwillingness to get involved in a fight is not a loss. He learned this from his new coach. And Jack himself will show his teacher that not every fight should be avoided, and the fight for family, relatives and friends is a battle that cannot be given up. The motto "never give up" primarily refers to such battles for the preservation of relationships and the safety of loved ones when you are not fighting for yourself. Similar ideas can be traced in many films about sports, but you can only see such a mix of action, drama and sports mixed in a light and youthful relaxed atmosphere.

Second part

An article about Never Back Down, written after so many years, of course, should mention that another similar movie was released in 2011. It reveals the same issues as the first part. This is again the story of several fighters who decided to participate in fights without rules, telling about male friendship and meanness, about fortitude and the ability to succeed and withstand the blows of fate. "Never Back Down 2" is a film that has almost no connection with the first part in terms of plot. Only one character became common in both films - the friend of the protagonist from the first part. The second tape does not arouse such interest as the first, in it the ideas of victory over oneself and the struggle for the main human values are not very clearly visible, anddeparture towards the need for revenge and punishment of the villain. But the film also turned out to be spectacular, and the fights in it are even better staged than in the first one.

Result

In general, the impressions of the tape "Never Give Up" and its second part remain completely positive. The films do not cause a burning desire to start studying hand-to-hand combat, rather, they simply inspire and arouse interest in the sport. And, of course, these pictures teach the viewer understandable and kind things, and not a way to solve their problems through scuffle. But the ability to stand up for yourself and at the same time improve your physical shape is never superfluous.
