The Moscow Regional Puppet Theater has existed since 1933. Its creator is Viktor Shvemberger - a wonderful actor, playwright, director and great enthusiast. The very first performance of the troupe was The Inspector General after N. V. Gogol. The dolls that took part in this production are now kept in the museum at the Sergei Obraztsov Theater.

In 1941-1945, the actors performed in front of the defenders of the Motherland. The Moscow Regional Puppet Theater played 275 performances at the forefront. Remarkable directors collaborated with the troupe.

Plays for the theater were written by such wonderful playwrights: G. Oster, P. Kataev, E. Uspensky, T. Tolstaya, Yu. Koval and others. The music for performances is composed by composers: G. Gladkov, L. Kazakova, V. Makhlyankin and others.

The Moscow Regional Children's Puppet Theater spends its entire life on wheels. TroupeI have already traveled almost all of Russia and very often go abroad. The theater's performances are a great success with the audience, they constantly win festivals and competitions. Leonid Maksimovich Migachev has been the director and artistic director for more than thirty years. He is a creative and proactive person. Many theater projects that are designed to support culture in cities and villages were created thanks to him. Leonid Massimovich held the post of leader until his death. Those viewers who have already visited the Moscow Regional Puppet Theater leave only positive reviews about it. The building is small, the kids here are very comfortable and interesting. There is only one drawback - it is very difficult to find a theater if you have never been there. It is convenient that children in the hall are seated in the first rows, and parents separately in the last, so that adults do not block the stage from the children. All performances, even those that are included in the classical repertoire of any puppet theater, are staged here absolutely in their own way. The performances are not long, the children do not even get tired of watching them. Quite reasonable ticket prices. The Moscow Regional Puppet Theater is best suited for introducing children to art. The performances are so interesting that they are not boring to watch even for adults. The hall is small, thanks to which the audience is very close to the artists, which creates a feeling of being involved in the action. Children are delighted with the performances of this theater. All performances are humorous. Here the authors of books for children sell their works and leave autographs with pleasure. Actors play roles, putting their whole soul into them. Very friendly staff seated the audience in their places. In the courtyard of the theater there is now a very comfortable playground where you can play. Very beautiful puppets with expressive faces play in the theater. During the holidays, the artists show several performances a day. It's good that now performances are held not only on weekends, as before, but also on weekdays, which allows you to visit the theater on any convenient day of the week.
