Yan Puzyrevsky: an actor who stepped into the abyss

Whenever watching the film "The Secret of the Snow Queen", the sister of the boy who played the role of Kai is amazed at how much her brother looks like his hero. That neglect and coldness that he expresses to Gerda, she still transfers to her relationship with her brother. And she still regrets that, unlike the girl from the fairy tale, she did not manage to find the strength in herself to overcome all insults and try to save her brother from tragedy. What was he like, the young actor Yan Puzyrevsky, who was so admired by yesterday's schoolgirls?

When the young actor was just starting his film career, his colleagues were sure that he had a great future. Indeed, Jan Puzyrevsky possessed all the data that can provide an actor with unconditional success. The boy was outwardly quite attractive, undeniably talented, and among his colleagues he proved himself on the good side. And yet, one spring day, he decided to put an end tonot only in my career, but also in my own life. It was only his choice.

His childhood years

Yan Puzyrevsky was born at the end of December 1970. Even as a child, he began acting in films. Already at the age of ten, he appeared on the stage of the Spesivtsev Theater, simultaneously acting in films. By his twentieth birthday, there were already a dozen and a half paintings in his creative piggy bank. Considering the pace at which Soviet cinema was moving in the eighties of the last century, such baggage was quite solid.

After graduating from school, the boy did not think about what he wanted to be. Therefore, he enters the Shchukin school. A little later, he works at the Moscow Youth Theater and even joins the troupe of the Taganka Theater. There were many good roles ahead.

About magnetic arrogance

Yan Puzyrevsky, whose photo in the eighties of the twentieth century was in many glossy magazines, at the beginning of his creative career received episodic roles, as well as many other aspiring actors. He briefly appeared in The Autumn Gift of the Fairies, based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales. But in the melodrama "Mr. Gymnasium Student" in the 85th, Jan was approved for the main role - fifteen-year-old Igor Stupin. He, faced with experiences because of his first love, goes to Rostov to visit his brother. And during this trip, the boy had to become both a witness and participants in revolutionary events, he adjoins the Bolshevik underground.

Perhaps the most striking work of Janeveryone considers the role of Kai in the fairy tale "The Secret of the Snow Queen", released on screens in 1986. Some of the best actors of that time were collected in this picture - Alisa Freindlich, Via Artmane, Oleg Efremov, Leonid Yarmolnik, Alexander Lenkov … Kai looks like a kind of "star boy" - somewhat arrogant, but attractive precisely because of this arrogance.

Critics took the picture rather ambiguously: some sang praises to the director for an unusual creative approach to the well-known storyline, others argued that "Secrets …" look good only thanks to great musical compositions.

Yan played another leading role in the drama "Publication". It was a story about how an elderly distinguished teacher of one of the schools with a heart attack ends up in the hospital because of a dirty article published in the newspaper with unfair accusations against her. Puzyrevsky was approved for the role of Vadim Rudnev, a high school student who decided to restore justice, no matter what it cost him.

Another interesting role, although not the main one, was played by a young actor in the detective story "Lawyer", in which he played Oleg Cheptsov (Chepts). This is a rather sad story of a young boy who is unjustly accused of killing a man. Lawyer Pavel Arkadyevich Beshmetyev is taken to defend him. And the fate of Kolya Varentsov now depends on him.

One step towards death

Perhaps, the fact that Yan Puzyrevsky grew up too loving himself and his whims as a person, unable to withstand difficult times, was his mother's fault. ButIt's hard to call it a fault. She loved her son too much, giving him love for two (she divorced her second husband, Jan's father, when the boy was still very young). When he went to first grade, Olya, Yan's older sister, was immediately sent to a boarding school for a five-day period. Olya rarely returned home, she lived with her father on weekends, and went to pioneer camps for the summer holidays. Then it seemed to her very offensive: well, why does mom love Jan more than her. But as she grew older, Olya learned to understand her mother: you always treat small and sickly children more reverently than prosperous firstborns.

Greenhouse upbringing resulted in Jan growing up too introverted. Even with the neighbor boys, he did not have a relationship - his older sister often had to stand up for him. Despite the fact that Olya and Yan were friends, played together, as soon as mom showed up, and Jan's friendship ended - he immediately clung to his mother so that his sister would not get even a drop of warmth.

At the age of ten, Puzyrevsky's life changed, he ended up in the theater studio of director Vyacheslav Spesivtsev. Mom always dreamed that her children would become actors, but only her son justified this dream. She was proud that when Yang started filming, he was recognized on the streets and asked for autographs.

The young actor got married quite early - shortly after graduation. Yan Puzyrevsky's wife, Lyudmila, studied with her future husband at the same school and saw how girls began to follow him (this began after the release of "Secrets …" on the screens). Yes, Jan didn't have tonothing to do - neither charm the girls, nor care for them. He had a strange quirkiness about him. And how - beautiful, educated, intelligent. Besides, he is also an actor. Probably, Luda just hurried to “stake out” him so that the young man would not get to someone else.

Not a very good relationship with Olya appeared here as well. Mom decided to punish her daughter - she did not invite her to her brother's wedding. And Jan, who always supported his mother, did the same. The same thing happened in his relationship with his wife. Since the young people lived in the entrance next to their mother, she constantly came to visit and expressed to Luda that things were not folded, things were not prepared so well … Jan still took his mother's side. The wife endured. In addition, five years after the marriage, their son Istvan was born. Jan was happy with the baby, but at first he was afraid to pick him up.

Unfortunately, more and more often the young actor was jealous of Luda for the men he himself invented. And constantly rolled her scandals. Periodically, he went out onto the balcony and shouted that he would jump out. Once he was even taken to a psychiatric hospital, but Yang asked to go home after three days.

The third suicide attempt was fatal. Puzyrevsky was depressed: he was used to the fact that since childhood everything was easy for him, and in the nineties there was a crisis in the film industry, there was not enough money, and the Taganka Theater was paid a penny.

The family is also in crisis. Relations with Lyuda did not work out, she even kicked her husband out of the house. On April 3, 1996, he came to see her son. Lyuda went up one floor to her neighbor. After a while, her husband called hersaying: “My son will not get anyone. Come see the spectacle…” Luda rushed into the apartment, but the door was closed from the inside. Meanwhile, Jan, taking his little son in his arms, stood on the windowsill of the 12th floor and stepped into the abyss…

This is how the young, handsome and talented actor Yan Puzyrevsky ended his days. Son Istvan survived. The kid was very lucky that spring day: when he fell, he caught on the branches of trees, which made it possible to soften the blow. The 2-year-old only suffered a mild head injury and broke his arm and leg.

The suicide was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery…
