Childhood, family

The future famous actor was born on November 16, 1947 in the glorious city of Sverdlovsk. His dad served as an actor in the Sverdlovsk theater, and was in great demand. Mom is an honored worker of medicine, a pediatrician. Like many children of actors, Volodya, along with his younger brother Sasha, spent a lot of time behind the scenes of the theater. Private life

Thirty years ago, Vladimir Ilyin married a bright and talented theater actress Zoya Pylnova. The couple are together to this day. They value each other very much. They have a very warm and tender relationship. Unfortunately, Ilyin was not destined to become parents. Of the six attempts to have a baby, none were successful. But Vladimir and Zoya do not fall into despair. There are always many children in their house - brother Vladimir has three children (who, by the way, also became actors), and they are always welcome guests in the Ilyins' house.

Zoya and Vladimir are deeply religious people. The wife left the stage a long time ago and now serves as a regent in the church. They live very modestly. They do a lot of charity work.
