The vast majority of festive events are always accompanied by musical performances: dances, dances, round dances, chants, jokes, contests. In general, various kinds of fun.

One of the most common holiday performances is dancing. They are included in any concert program. These are folk dances during traditional Russian festivities such as Maslenitsa or Ivan Kupala. Potpourri (for dance in particular) are characterized by the fact that the melody does not develop in them, but one replaces the other. Small links are usually made between passages that connect different parts. Thus, they form a continuous artistic image that has a beginning and an end. It can also be supplemented by development and climax, various semantic and emotional transitions.
