Origin

Godovikov Nikolai Lvovich was born on January 1, 1950 in the city of Leningrad (modern St. Petersburg). His father, Lev Ivanovich Godovikov, was an electrician, and his mother, Margarita Dmitrievna Godovikova, worked at one of the many St. Petersburg factories, and in a very good position. In addition to their son, they also had a daughter, Tatyana, Nikolai's younger sister. Despite the fact that Nikolai Godovikov grew up in a complete family, his life was by no means a sweet children's paradise.

From a very young age, he spent almost all his free time on the street, where, of course, he got into bad company. I started smoking very early. Having become a little older, he also reached for alcoholic beverages. Due to the high employment of his parents at work, almost no one looked after him, and he received an upbringing, one might say, street, courtyard. Has it becomethis is the reason for his sad adventures as an adult, it's hard to say.

After school, Nikolai, at the insistence of his mother, went to study at a physics and mathematics college. By the time of the first filming, he was already on special police records for his behavior.

First fame

The future actor Nikolai Godovikov, whose biography is replete with fateful coincidences, got his first role literally by accident. But everything could have happened completely differently, and we would never have seen his talent. He decided to go to the audition with his friends. On the way, they all went to the store, and there were lottery tickets on the counter. Unfortunately, the saleswoman was not there, and Nikolai decided to steal one of them. Of course, the guys were caught red-handed. But by chance, he managed to persuade his district police officer to let him go to the film studio. Apparently, the talent of persuasion manifested itself in him even then. And he got a small episodic role in the film directed by Grigory Poloka called "The Republic of ShKID", which was filmed in 1966. There was even an opportunity to get a leading role in the film, but it did not work out.

Godovikov Nikolai, a young but talented actor, became known to the general public after the release of the film "White Sun of the Desert", where he played Petrukha. It was with this role that he entered the history of Russian cinema. And his phrase "Gyulchatay, open your face" went to the people.

Prison Past

Unfortunately, Nikolai Godovikov became famous not only for his acting talent, whose biographyhas three prison terms. The first he received for parasitism, and the second and third - for theft. According to Article 209, it was then impossible to register at the former address of residence for three years, so Godovikov had to leave for Priozersk to work at a pulp and paper mill. But life brought him together with real criminals, for which he had to pay with several years of life at large.

After his release from his first imprisonment, he went back to prison for 4 years just six months later. Nikolai Godovikov and his accomplices participated in thefts from rich apartments in Leningrad and Moscow. For this, the investigators even called him a “noble thief.”

In prison, he never boasted of his acting star past - no one in the zone is interested in this. But he performed regularly in the prison club. People liked and enjoyed watching him play.

Career

Despite life's hardships and turmoil, film fans will find in the credits of many films and serials such a name as Nikolai Godovikov. His filmography is quite serious. Many recognize him in episodic roles in the films Zhenya, Zhenechka and Katyusha, In the Black Sands, That Far Summer.

Only in 1987 did he manage to start professional studies in cinema: he entered the directing department of the Leningrad Cultural Enlightenment. In 1988, he again played a small role in the film "Without a Uniform". Further, Nikolai's career was again unexpectedly interrupted due to illegalactivities for which Godovikov had to spend 2.5 years in the Vladimir penal colony for repeat offenders.

In the breaks between terms of imprisonment and acting, Nikolai Godovikov had to work with anyone! And a builder, and a loader, and a locksmith. I had to learn how to do a lot to provide a livelihood for myself and my family.

Modern works

Since the late 1990s, Nikolai Godovikov has starred in numerous Russian television series about the fate of law enforcement officers. He can be seen in "National Security Agent", "Secrets of the Investigation", "Special Forces", "Russian Special Forces", "Gangster Petersburg" and others.

For three years he played in the theater "On Sofiyskaya", where the director was his former colleague on the set of "The Republic of ShKID", Vladimir Kolesnikov. Subsequently, I had to leave when a new head of the theater came.

Acting is not the main activity of Nikolai now. After his release from prison, he got a job as an ordinary worker at Metrostroy and lives with his family in St. Petersburg. The reason was his wife's parents, who refused to accept him as a relative and practically forced him to leave. So he decided to move to Leningrad and, having entered the Leningrad Cultural Education, again returned to his acting career.

Now, after all the hardships and troubles of life, Nikolai lives in St. Petersburg with his third wife, Lyudmila, with whom fate brought him absolutely by accident. He was looking for the phone of his old acquaintances, got the wrong number and got to Lyudmila. And so their romance began. Nikolai Lvovich says that he lives well with Lyudmila andcalmly, and he had long dreamed of such a woman in his life.
