Since ancient times, theater has been considered an integral part of art and culture. Poetry and prose, music and dance numbers - all this, together with excellent acting and enchanted spectators, is a theater. Speaking of domestic theaters, the list can be long: the beautiful Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, the luxurious Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, the wonderful academic opera and ballet theaters in Novosibirsk and Perm.

However, in this article we will pay attention to the Mossovet Drama Theater, created by S. I. Prokofiev back in 1923. The full name sounds like this - the State Order of Lenin and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor Academic Theater named after the Mossovet.

History

The history of the theater began even earlier - in 1922, at that moment a small group of nine actors was led by the writer and director S. I. Prokofiev. There was no private premises at that time. But already in 1924 the theater building in the gardenThe Hermitage was placed at the disposal of the theatre, where it was located before the Great Patriotic War. Later, the Vedeno People's House was allocated and rebuilt for the theater. All major performances took place here between 1947 and 1959. From that moment to the present, the Mossovet Theater has been located on the territory of the Aquarium Garden. In 1959, on December 5, the first performance of the Mossovet Theater took place in the new building.

Interior decoration

Inside the theater building is a spacious hall, consisting of three tiers. A foyer with a winter garden and a museum exposition have also been created. On the territory of the theater there is a buffet and places for recreation, a children's playroom and an open summer veranda. Recently, the theater has built a stage "under the roof", partly to stir up and shock the modern audience. The theater received a rather interesting design, which in shape resembles a Venetian carnival mask with feathers. The scheme of the hall of the Moscow City Council theater in the photo can be found in the next paragraph. First, let's talk about the design of the theater in general.
