Celebrities such as Maria Maksakova, Valery Gergiev, Yuri Bogdanov, Denis Matsuev, Sergei Roldugin, Elena Obraztsova and many others have performed at the theater.

The seaside opera troupe is actively touring. The theater, among other things, organizes international festivals. They are attended by musicians and vocalists from all over Russia and from European countries.

Today the Primorsky Opera and Ballet Theater is a branch of the St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theater.

"Guarding the Peace" is a festival dedicated to the victory of our people over the fascist invaders. It runs from May 7 to May 11. As part of the festival, S. Prokofiev's opera "The Tale of a Real Man" was shown. On the ninth of May there was a concert called "Songs of War and Peace".
