Plot of the picture
At the center of the story is a guy named David Morgan. While fishing for crayfish, he meets a sixteen-year-old girl, Megan Chandler. She moved with her sister to her own aunt after the heroine's parents died. The Chandler family is not distinguished by exemplary behavior and high status, and Aunt Megan herself is by no means the best mother for her three sons. Rude, as the children call her, freely allows her sons to drink beer and discuss topics that are forbidden for children. At their age, boys can afford a lot of excess, feeling complete impunity. After a while, Morgan becomes aware of the true life of a new girlfriend, who is often beaten and humiliated by her brothers. Naturally, no one should say a word about what is happening. However, the heroine's patience is gradually coming to an end, and one day she goes to the police and reports on the events taking place in her family. Upon learning that her niece visited the sheriff, Rude decides to punish the naughty relative in the most sophisticated way. During the torture of a young girl, David watches what is happening through the window inbasement, trying to figure out how he can help his new girlfriend. However, he will not be able to resist the crowd of angry guys alone. The protagonist of the thriller about teenagers, Morgan, is well aware that Megan needs to be saved from an abnormal family. David decides to act immediately, because there is almost no time left.
Film "Let Me In"
The motion picture "Let Me In" was created by Thomas Alfredson based on the book by Jun Aivide Lindqvist. Literally, the name of the tape in Russia should be translated as "Let in the one who follows." This teen thriller has won numerous awards and is acclaimed by international film critics.
Storyline
The action of the picture takes place in 1982 in the small town of Blackeberg. A 12-year-old boy named Oscar is an outcast among his peers. Every day, the hero suffers from beatings and bullying, but does not fight back, silently enduring all insults and concealing school problems from his parents. One day the boy's life changes. He meets a girl who in winter walks down the street in summer clothes without feeling the cold. Eli differs from his peers in that he feeds exclusively on the blood that her father produces for her. However, the man is getting old, and he is no longer able to bring food to his daughter. That is why the heroine hardly restrains herself so as not to pounce on a new friend, however, for unknown reasons, Eli does not touch Oscar.
Hero relationships
During the course of a teenage friendship, the habitual life of a self-contained guy changes, and Eli helps his friend find the strength to give a fitting rebuff to school bullies. Once the protagonist of the film “Let Me In” finds out that his girlfriend is a vampire and does not turn away from her, but, on the contrary, tries to help the girl with all her might, because her father was in the hospital. Oscar even manages to save the life of a vampire girl who is nearly killed. In order to protect his life, Eli leaves for another city, after which the guy is again threatened by classmates. One of the offenders asks his older brother to deal with Oscar, and at the most crucial moment in the thriller about teenagers, Eli appears.
