Children's theater "Aleko" has existed since the last century. Many generations of artists and athletes have grown up here. Professionals take care of children. Young artists take part in performances and events significant for the country.

History of the theater

"Aleko" - theater on ice, which was founded in 1977. The decision to open it was made by the trade union committee of the automobile plant named after Lenin Komsomol. The Aleko Theater was directed by the soloist of the Igor Moiseev Ensemble, Honored Artist of the RSFSR N. M. Samsonova. The choreographer at that time was O. V. Safronova. The children of the master of sports were trained: O. L. Barskova, N. P. Varyan, E. N. Karpova, M. O. Galkina.

The first performances presented to the public by the Aleko Theater:

• "The Nutcracker";
• "Time ahead";
• "May there always be sunshine";
• "Aibolit";
• "Wide is my native land."

Also, the young artists took part in crowd scenes during the closing and opening ceremonies of the 1980 Olympics, held in Moscow, in the artistic program of the international competition called "Moscow News".

In 1989, the Aleko Theater received the title of "Exemplary".

From 1998 to this day Olga Ilyinichna Kondrashova has been the artistic director. Thanks to her, outstanding coaches, choreographers, and acrobatics teachers were united in the Aleko Theater in one team. Aleko teachers are professionals in their field. Most of them are former graduates of this theatre. Almost all the performances combine ice technique, acrobatic elements, unique choreography, stilted skates, a large jump rope and synchronized skating into a single whole. Olga Ilyinichna is not only an artistic director, she is also a director and designer of unusually beautiful costumes. In 2010, this talented woman was awarded the title of "Honorary Worker of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism of the City of Moscow."

More than a hundred children are engaged in the Aleko Ice Theater. The age of pupils is from 4 years to 18 years.

Coaching staff

The Aleko Theatre, as mentioned above, exists under the direction of Olga Ilyinichna Kondrashova. She herself is an alumnus. Then she graduated from the Institute of Physical Education. She began working in the theater in 1986.

Trainer-teacher - Tatyana Aleksandrovna Karelina. She is also a graduate of the Aleko Theater and the Institute of Physical Education.

Yulia Vladimirovna Shmiler is a master of sports in figure skating.

Andrey Stepanovich Maximov brings up sports couples.

Sergey Aleksandrovich Karelin teaches ice acrobatics to young artists. He is a graduate of the Aleko Theatre. In addition, he is a soloistMoscow Ballet on Ice.

Tamara Alexandrovna Mikhailova - choreographer. Former soloist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Lana Alekseevna Shepeleva teaches modern dances to pupils.

And the following trainers-teachers also work here: D. K. Oganesyan and A. A. Boyko.

In addition to the head of the theatre, M. A. Zhitnikova is involved in the creation of costumes for the performances of the Aleko Theater.

Every year at the end of May, the Aleko Theater pleases the public with interesting and unforgettable graduation and reporting concerts. Since 1994, the team has regularly traveled to Poland on tour. Since 1999, young artists have been taking part in New Year parties for children, which take place in the Olimpiysky sports complex. Pupils of the theater "Aleko" have repeatedly performed together with such famous figure skaters of our country as A. Yagudin, A. Tikhonov, I. Slutskaya and M. Petrova. The artists showed their New Year's performances in several cities.

In 2011, Aleko students took part in a gala concert held on Red Square in honor of the Day of Russia.

Awards

The Aleko Theater has earned a huge number of prizes and awards over the years of its existence. Hispupils have repeatedly won at various ice festivals. The theater often becomes the winner of figure skating competitions. In his piggy bank are diplomas for victories in competitions between dance groups on ice, dedicated to the memory of outstanding people - Larisa Novozhilova and Samson Glyazer. Members of the team become laureates of Moscow, All-Russian and international festivals and competitions. The Aleko Theater was awarded a certificate of honor for its participation in the Paralympic Torch Relay in 2014. The team also received gratitude from the Minister for Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy for their great contribution to the development of sports in our country. The Aleko Theater also has diplomas for winning competitions held in other countries.
