Theler Derek was born in 1986 on October 29 in the town of Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. The boy's parents planned to send their son to medicine, but when the boy grew up, representatives of the modeling business noticed him.

After receiving an education, Derek began to participate in various acting auditions. In 2009, he played his first roles in such series as Cougar City, It Happens Worse and Hollywood Actors. Also, the aspiring actor was nominated for one of the roles in the film "Captain America", but after a while the creators of the project rejected his candidacy.
