One of the most promising young directors, screenwriters and producers in Ukraine can be called Alexander Kiriyenko. He is known to most residents of the country thanks to his work on the TV channels Studio 1 + 1 and Novy Kanal. One of the director's biggest achievements was Fear Delusion, which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Non-English Language Film.

Work is life

Alexander Vladimirovich is a native of the city of Kyiv. Immediately after school, the future director entered the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in publishing craft. After he received the profession of a film director, having studied at the KGITI. Karpenko-Kary. Interestingly, Alexander Kiriyenko completed his excellent thesis work in the form of commercials. It was short videos that became for Alexander Vladimirovich a wide field of activity after graduation: for a long time he was engaged in the production of advertising and music videos. In 2004, a new milestone in the work of Alexander Kiriyenko begins: he begins to actively work on the production of feature films, as well as television series in various formats. His debut in this field was the popular comedy Gas Station Queen 2, a remake of the 1960s film of the same name. The remake does not differ much from the original film in terms of plot, but it is filled with the technical achievements of modern cinematography: computer tricks, magic tricks and animation. The musical accompaniment of the tape corresponds to its general style: the film features compositions of domestic and foreign pop music.

"Labyrinths of Destiny" was released as a small series that addresses the social problem of orphanhood. But it was the series Under the Heel that gave Kiriyenko the right to become the recognized king of melodramas. In this genre, he was also able to work with the famous director and actor V. Menshov. "Murder for three" based on the novel by N. Alexandrova was not particularly bright, but critics noted it as an interesting ironic detective story.

Recent works

For the last five years, director Alexander Kiriyenko has been able to please the audience and all admirers of his work with the Ivanovs family series. The work was filmed in collaboration with screenwriter L. Mazor. The melodrama again connects Sasha Kirienko with Vladimir Menshov, the latter participates in the film as an actor and plays one of the main roles. In 2017, the director managed to shoot a crime melodrama with a detective story "Two Lives". The role of Angela in the series was played by E. These films brought Alexander Kiriyenko to the ranks of the best producers and screenwriters of the CIS countries and Russia.
