The State Theater for Young Spectators (Krasnoyarsk) has been around for many years. It is popular not only among children, but also among adults. His repertoire is diverse and everyone will find something interesting here.

History of the theater

The Theater of the Young Spectator (Krasnoyarsk), the photo of the building of which is presented in this article, has existed since 1964. Its opening took place on December 7th. The theater building was inherited from the House of Culture named after Vladimir Mayakovsky. The very first troupe of the Youth Theater consisted of graduates of the Leningrad Theater Institute. The director who headed the theater for the young spectator (Krasnoyarsk) was V. I. Galashin. The first troupe was played by such actors as Lev Diamonds, Larisa Malevannaya, Valery Kosoy, Nikolai Korolev, Yuri Zatravkin, Nikolai Olyalin and others. At that time, the repertoire of the Youth Theater included performances: "Thief in Paradise", "Continuation of the Legend", "Ocean", "My Elder Sister", "My Poor Marat", "Raven" and others.

In the 60s of the 20th century, the troupe of the Youth Theater changed, the aged artists were replaced by young ones. The management of the theater has changed. The performances of the Youth Theater came to watchcritics from the capital. A very bright period in the life of the theater was the 70s of the 20th century. At that time, it was headed by A. Popov, who led it for 7 years. The main idea that was embedded in the productions of this period is the formation of a personality in a period of life upheavals and kinks in fate. The performances staged by A. Popov were recognized at the all-Union level.

In the 1980s, the Theater of the Young Spectator (Krasnoyarsk) "lived" under the direction of Alexander Kanevsky. New genres entered the repertoire. There were musical performances. The musical "Timur vs. Kvakin" received recognition at the All-Union Festival in the capital and was declared the best performance of the 80th year. The main idea of all the performances was the theme of the youth's desire for moral maximalism.

The beginning of the 21st century was difficult for the Youth Theater. In 2001, the building was badly damaged by a fire caused by a lightning strike. The renovation took over five years. Thanks to the help of sponsors, a temporary alternative stage was created, which made it possible to preserve the repertoire and the troupe of the Youth Theater in those difficult years.

The theater was famous for the fact that exceptionally bright actors always worked in it.

Today the Krasnoyarsk Theater for Young Spectators is directed by Roman Nikolaevich Feodori. Thanks to him, the Youth Theater manages to preserve the best historical traditions.

Projects

The Theater of the Young Spectator (Krasnoyarsk) is the organizer of a large number of various projects. Among them is The Human Voice. This project was created for children with hearing impairments. This is a creative art therapy laboratory for students of a correctional boarding school. Girls and boys within the framework of the project take part in performances where they communicate with the audience using gestures and plasticity. Children who are hard of hearing get the opportunity to express themselves on stage.
