Cinema is a relatively new art form, which, nevertheless, has already managed to conquer the whole world. The reasons for such popularity are accessibility and entertainment, multiplied by the absence of the need to do something in order to get this entertainment. Some consider watching movies a primitive activity that cannot be compared with going to the theater, an art gallery, or reading a good book. However, this approach is nothing more than a cheap self-promotion, they say, look what an intellectual I am, I don’t watch movies, I am immersed in the realm of high art. After all, films are very different: "smart", art house, action films, thrillers, science fiction and, of course, comedies.

Comedy is a universal genre of cinema, and it is loved by all categories of viewers. However, for some reason, they prefer only foreign films, while domestically produced tapes are ignored. Meanwhile, the popularity of foreign comedies largely depends on the level of translation - Russian specialists in this field often fully adapt speeches to our sense of humor, and all the sparkling jokes and funny speech turns are present only in the Russian-language version of the film. In domestic tapes to our viewereverything is clear: jokes, witticisms, plot twists that can only happen in this country.

Of course, not all comedies are up to the mark. Some are outright reworkings of the best foreign films, with a slight national twist or slightly altered plot. For example, the film "New Year's Tariff" - the idea of \u200b\u200bthis movie was clearly borrowed from the American director Alejandro Agresti, who shot "The Lake House". Remember this beautiful story starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock? They communicated with each other through letters, being at the same time in different times. Replace letters with cell phones, move the characters to a snow-covered city, and determine the further development of the story according to the circumstances - that's the film "New Year's Tariff" appeared. Although we can admit that the tape is still a success and it is definitely worth watching.

Below are the best Russian comedies. The list is far from complete, despite the fact that Russian cinema has just begun to “recover” after the “coma” of the early 1990s. Although it was not even a coma, they just filmed such outright nonsense that I don’t even want to remember. Of course, five or even six decent films were released during this period, but as they say, the exception only proves the rule.
