The Theater of Musical Comedy (Krasnoyarsk) has existed since the middle of the 20th century. The repertoire consists of classical operettas, performances to the music of Soviet composers, vaudeville, modern musicals, and so on. The theater employs wonderful vocalists, ballet, orchestra, choir.
History of the theater
The Musical Theater (Krasnoyarsk) was opened in February 1959. The first performance of the troupe was the operetta to the music of Isaak Dunayevsky "Free Wind". Actors who graduated from the Moscow, Lvov, Odessa and Kharkov conservatories were invited to the troupe. Pretty soon the theater became loved by the audience. Over the years of its existence, the Krasnoyarsk Musical Committee has staged more than 200 performances on its stage. Troup
The Theater of Musical Comedy (Krasnoyarsk) is four creative workshops of artists: vocalists, ballet, choir and orchestra.
Vocal workshop represents 38 actors. Twelve of them have the honorary title of Honored Artist of Russia. They are: Yuvenaly Efimov, Galina Kichka, Valentina Litvina, Alexander Alexandrov, Svetlana Kolyanova, Mikhail Mikhailov, Irina Boyko, Vladimir Rodin, Svetlana Kolevatova, Vladislav Pitalsky, Alexander Litvinov and Viktor Savchenkov. Also, fourteen ballet dancers serve in the theater troupe.
Casanova
The performance "Casanova" was staged by the Musical Comedy Theater (Krasnoyarsk) in 2013. This is a new musical by the famous composer and producer Kim Breitburg. The performance of "Casanova" became a bright event in the life of the theater. The performance was a great success with the audience. The world-famous lover of Casanova will win the hearts of all spectators with his songs about love, and he will tell men the secrets of his success with the weaker sex. Everything is here: love, betrayal, spectacular fights, meetings, intrigues, partings, secrets, chases. The plot of the musical is original. The world has never seen a Casanova like this. In the play, he appears as a handsome young thirty-year-old, but a joker, a great romantic and a mysterious heartthrob.
As mentioned above, the music for the production was written by Kim Breitburg. He is known to a wide audience as a producer of the television projects "The Secret of Success" and "People'sartist”, and he is also the author of more than six hundred famous pop songs that are included in the repertoire of such artists as Lyudmila Gurchenko, Larisa Dolina, Alexei Chumakov and many others.
Besides this, he wrote the musical "The Blue Cameo", the rock opera "The Tale of Igor's Campaign", the suite "Once Upon a Tomorrow" and so on.
The libretto for the musical "Casanova" was written by Evgeny Muravyov. This poet wrote lyrics for songs for famous Russian TV series, such as: “Doomed to become a star”, “Silver Lily of the Valley”, “Return of Mukhtar” and others. Songs based on his poems are sung by: L. Dolina, Lolita, A. Pugacheva, T. Povaliy, I. Allegrova, N. Baskov and others.
Projects
Musical Theater (Krasnoyarsk) organized the project "The whole family - to the theater".
