Robert Miles (1969–2017) (real name Roberto Concina) was born in Switzerland to Italian immigrants. Since childhood, he was fond of playing the piano, and this determined his future fate. Almost nothing is known about the musician's personal life, he carefully concealed all information about himself. It is known for certain that he had a daughter, whom he loved very much. 1990th. Robert buys used music equipment for his small studio. At the same time, experiments began to create his own music, but his first works were not appreciated by the audience.

1993rd. Miles buys modern musical equipment and signs a contract with producer D. Vanelli. Together they record singles Red Zone and Soundtracks.
