Transformer Cliffjumper is a fictional character belonging to a race of alien intelligent machines, one of the heroes of the popular Transformers universe, which formed the basis of various animated series and films.
Cliffjumper belongs to the Autobot faction and unconditionally follows their ideology. Due to his short temper, the character often gets into dangerous troubles, challenging anyone who crosses the path of him or his associates.
General information
Cliffjumper's hot and restless nature encourages him to always be ahead and rush towards any danger without hesitation. Many Autobots find their companion's behavior problematic, as he often gets into trouble that even the most experienced machines find difficult to get out of. Despite this, the other Transformers understand Cliffjumper's motivation and accept him for who he is, with all his brashness and reckless ways. All our hero wants is to bring closer the long-awaited victory in the already protracted war.
Cliffjumper does not like the uneven surface of the Earth and considers this a major drawback. Therefore, he is often distracted and thinks about possible breakdowns while performing important tasks.
One of the most famous Cliffjumper cartoons is Transformers: Prime (from the Unicron Trilogy). It is about a team of Autobots who continue to defend the Earth after another failed attack by Megatron. Patrolman Cliffjumper in Transformers: Prime, trying to cope with the new routine duties, realizes that he misses the old battles and dangers. One fine day, he stumbles upon a squad of Vehicons who are developing an energon deposit. After a shootout, the hero is captured, where he dies at the hands of the Decepticon Brawler.
Abilities
Despite his small size, Cliffjumper shows amazing speed in combat. This is especially noticeable when the robot takes the form of an auto.
High speed and excellent maneuverability allow the hero to play one of the key roles during the battle - taking on enemy artillery fire. Cliffjumper not only enjoys his work, but also does it perfectly. He is able to get out of even the most dangerous mess unharmed.
Perhaps the Autobot's most notable technical device is its projectiles that fire "glass gas" - liquid nitrogen at an extremely low temperature (absolute zero). Such projectiles are capable of causing metal crystallization,which turns the enemy body into something extremely vulnerable and fragile.
Weaknesses
In car form, Transformer Cliffjumper often punctures his tires. It turns out so because the hero is always trying to be ahead of everyone. Frequent abrupt starts lead to quick shutdowns and unscheduled repairs. There are also quite ridiculous cases, for example, when Cliffjumper suffers from his own liquid nitrogen projectiles - usually this is caused by fast driving and headwind.
The young Autobot is known for his arrogance and self-confidence. Sometimes his own delusions lead to extremely dangerous situations that he cannot handle alone.
