The author of future bestsellers was born in 1948 in Salisbury (Wiltshire, England). He received an excellent education at the universities of Cambridge and Stanford (California). In parallel with his work in the publishing business, Edward Rutherford wrote plays and stories, and at the age of 35 he decided to seriously engage in creativity and, secluded from the bustle of the city in his parents' house, began writing his first epicworks.

The result of hard work was the novel "Sarum", in the plot of which the entire turbulent course of English history can be traced on the example of Salisbury and Stonehenge.
