Biography

Evgeny Muravyov is a poet who was born on January 8, 1961 in Kazan. After graduating from school, he became a student at the Sasovo Civil Aviation Flight School named after Taran G. A. Evgeny was a pilot, worked in agricultural aviation, and flew An-2 aircraft. In parallel, he studied at the Kazan Aviation Institute named after A. N. Tupolev. In the nineties, he dramatically changes his life and goes to Estonia, moves to the city of Kunda. There he begins to work at a school as a teacher - he teaches physical education, history and economics. The creative path of our hero as a poet begins in 1995. And in 1998 he moved to Moscow. Evgeny Muravyov is a poetsongwriter. He notes that in this capacity, his main task is to ensure that his personal feelings, as well as thoughts, are transmitted first to the performer, and then turn into the sensations of the listener. He tries to catch the motive to which the soul and heart are tuned. Each song is a little story for him. He tries to make as much sense as possible in every word and speaks with the utmost sincerity.

Eugene began writing poetry in 1995. At first he composed 25 test texts. Then I decided to show them to professional composers. While in Moscow, he left his work to Arkady Ukupnik and Igor Krutoy. After 5 months, the latter invited our hero to Moscow. Then he signed the first copyright agreement for songs. From the above selection of developments, Igor Krutoy set aside more than half of the works for himself. Arkady Ukupnik chose a few more.

In 1996, the first song appeared on the stage, which was based on the poet's poems - "Her Highness". Performed by Irina Allegrova. Other compositions followed: “The Right of the Last Night”, “Gallery of Broken Hearts”, “Harem”, “Chestnut Branch”. Our hero became the laureate of "Song of the Year". Irina Allegrova recorded about 50 compositions based on the poems of this author. In collaboration with Igor Krutoy, the songs "You know, mom" for Diana Gurtskaya and "River tram" for Alla Pugacheva were created.

Our hero, together with Kim Breitburg, organized a duet of Boris Moiseev and Lyudmila Gurchenko, who sang the song "Petersburg-Leningrad". Further this creative uniongave another composition to the poet's poems - "I hate". Nadezhda Kadysheva and Alexander Kostyuk create the song "Broad River" based on Muravyov's verses. For the anniversary of St. Petersburg, the anthem of this city was written. This work is also interesting in that the leading performers of the national stage participated in it. The video for this song was broadcast by Russian channels. Soon the composition could be heard on the radio. It also sounded during the festive events held in St. Petersburg. In total, since 1996, about a thousand compositions based on Muravyov's poems have been written.

Since 2010, Eugene has been successfully and actively working on writing librettos for various musicals. Our hero notes that this genre captured him by the fact that it allows you to step over the boundaries of one song, change the form of the verse, expand the range of stories described, get away from the verse-chorus principle. The author notes that it is incredibly interesting for him to revive the heroes, to build their world. Our hero is the author of a literary translation of I. Kalman's play "La Bayadere". The author is a member of the Russian Authors' Society.
