Two years later, Sapkowski's book "The Road of No Return" is published. This is a complete collection of short prose works. His characters and some of their actions will be especially surprising, the meaning of which will become much clearer.

The beginning of the 90s is met by a writer with the book "The End of the World". Heroic fantasyon the theme of adventure. The described world refers to the witcher from Ger alt. Only the work describes his and the poet Dandelion's wanderings to the town of Dol Blatan. This valley of flowers has attracted them for a long time, and adventures will become something special in their lives. After all, the work of the witcher begins with the fact that evil spirits are discovered in Nizhny Posad. Who else can beat her?

In the same year, the author manages to release "A Question of Price". The action takes place in a world that has nothing to do with reality. And all fantasy revolves around Queen Calanthe and the witcher from Rivia. They don't just call him the White Wolf. And the feast on the occasion of her daughter's betrothal becomes a stumbling block for all subsequent events. An interesting work from the already known science fiction cycle.

The year ended with two works. The first is "Musicians" and the second is "The Lesser Evil". In the first, the story is about a group of people who secretly follow the most evil human qualities. And events unfold in such a way that the veil gets out of control. The Lesser Evil is a story about those times when the witcher found himself broke. But life does not spare anyone, and even more so does not make concessions. Sometimes you even have to kill people, although this is not what he expected.

1991 begins with the release of the book "The Limit of the Possible". This work will tell about the travels of the already famous witcher in search of adventure and earnings. And his new dragon slayer friends will be a great company for him. The world is still the same, but the events are slightly different.

Shard of Ice

In 1992, "Shard of Ice" becomes a novelty in this genre of works. After all, Ger alt is already traveling with his chosen one. Her name is Yennefer, and she is a real sorceress. When they arrive in one elven city, events begin to develop by themselves. The book is more about how a love triangle can affect even fairy tale characters. The Witcher will face a difficult test of faith and his feelings. Also in 1992, such works as:

Both people represent different classes, which exposes the conflict in a completely unusual light.

Something More

“Something More” tells about the times of war in the world of the already famous witcher. After completion, it turns out that not everyone agrees with the resulting conditions. Moreover, all mystical creatures and thieves begin to commit excesses in search of profit. If the latter are not his work, then evil spirits are exactly what he needs so much. And his mission in this world becomes more clear and obvious to others.

Later creativity

The story "Something ends, something begins" becomes the next one in the whole cycle of narrations. Only here willThe wedding of Ger alt and Yennefer is described. All events will somehow unfold around this. Who were the guests? What did they drink, eat? In general, everything is only about what makes such an event unforgettable and memorable for the rest of your life.

After this book, the work "Last Wish" immediately appears. This is again an excellent work, characterized by epic and originality. And the scale of the idea is difficult to describe in a few chapters, which is why the work is so large. Again there will be references to different mythologies, legends and fairy tales. Although this is still the same world of the witcher Ger alt. The next adventures with his beloved and Princess Ciri will begin with the fact that they will have to unravel another legend. And its events will again unfold around unknown forces for mere mortals.

The "Last Wish" and "In the Bomb Funnel" released at the same time also made a splash among the author's fans. Only the last work does not refer to the witcher, but to the events that tell about the civil war in Poland. Moreover, the intervention of foreign states and the Chernobyl disaster make people look again at the world, which is not so simple and beautiful. Especially don't trust people. It is they who cause many things.

Several more Witcher-themed works were released, but they did not become something very different from the overall picture. But the last book, Season of Thunderstorms, was a great ending. At the moment, no more works are observed. In this book, Ger alt returns to the world of fights with evil spirits and monsters. It was the "Season of Thunderstorms" that becameexpected story. After all, for almost 15 years there was nothing like this, and the fans were very happy about the new adventures of the witcher. And the author, in his usual manner of writing, again pleased them with his artistic turns.
