Batman believed that if the guy was motivated properly, he would not become a criminal. In one of the comics, Jason Todd confirms the correctness of this approach and helps his teacher save the city from the Deacon.

Todd and Joker

The uniqueness of the story about the adventures of these heroes is the common “DC universe”. One of the stars of the general "cosmos" is Jason Todd, the characters he met on the pages of subsequent issues are easily recognizable by fans, and managed to acquire their own adaptations. There is a villain in the story of Robin who is not inferior to the popularity of Batman himself, and as it is known from the comics, the main antagonist of the "winged" hero is the Joker.

Unable to cope with excessive aggression, Batman's partner was forced to leave the fight against crime in order to clarify the secret of his birth, when in fact Wayne simply suspended him. Robin finds the main and fatal secret for him, revealing which, he realizes that the deceased mother was adopted. From his father's notes, Todd learns of the existence of his own mother, but finds no mention of her location. Batman's computer helps Jason find the addresses, although there are suspicions when reading comics that the Joker deliberately sent the seeker of "family truth" into the trap skillfully set by the "joker".

As a result, the criminal kills both Robin and his mother. The scene of Batman's farewell to Robin is, if not the mosta memorable moment in the comic, it is undoubtedly a wonderful ending for the joint story of two defenders of one city.

In-game version of the character

In the second half of 2015, players who bought a computer project called "Batman: Arkham Knight" could evaluate the new addition, where the character could become the Red Hood. Curiously, this is Todd's first appearance in the gaming industry. After all, if we trace the modern history of Jason, then after the resurrection by now, he changed his name from Robin to the Hood (in some variations of the Cap).

What about film adaptations?

In 1997, a film was released that told about the adventures of two characters - Robin and Batman. The motion picture is the last part of the trilogy directed by Schumacher (meaning Joel). The superhero duet was performed by two actors: George Clooney and Chris O'Donnell.

Of course, Birth of a Legend's portrayal of Batman is better compared to the final parts of the trilogies, but Robin hasn't appeared on screen again as both a hero and an anti-hero.

Antihero? No, life is just like this

Antihero is not the nicest title given to Jason's fans. True, the reason for his bitterness lies in an attempt to find a member of his family, which is a serious justification for all his dark deeds. Ultimately, Red Hood, Robin, and Jason died at the hands of the Joker. Perhaps the excuses are what makes Todd more of a good character than a villain.
