The main character of the film is a young woman, Polina Cherkasova (M. Anikanova). She has everything - a loving husband, a smart and handsome son. But then one day the family gets into a car accident. Waking up in the hospital, Cherkasova discovers that her beloved men are dead.
Widowed Cherkasova is heartbroken. She is seriously thinking about leaving this life. But Polina's sister (Vera) persuades the woman to have a second child and give herself another chance.
Actors M. Anikanova and Yu. Baturin, or rather, their on-screen heroes, met only once and spent an unforgettable night together. If Arseny was counting on the continuation of relations, then Polina undertooksuch a step only in order to become pregnant and experience the joy of motherhood again. After a single meeting, the couple broke up and did not see each other for many years, until Cherkasova came to work in a new company and saw her old friend there.
An affair broke out again between Polina and Arseniy. The man almost immediately became a close person for Polina's daughter. But some facts from the past life of both heroes will soon become known and build a new wall of misunderstanding between them.
Maria Anikanova as Polina
Maria Anikanova, a graduate of the Shchukin School, has been a member of the troupe of the Sovremennik Theater since 1995. The actress began her film career in 1991 with a leading role in the film House Under the Starry Sky, where Mikhail Ulyanov and Alexander Abdulov became her partners on the set. Then there was a role in the drama "Tomorrow", dedicated to the Chernobyl disaster.
After nine years of silence, Anikanova returned to the screens, playing only episodic roles in TV shows. In 2005, she was assigned the main role in the project "Two Fates 2", after which there was progress in her television career.

Therefore, after spending the night with him, the woman simply disappeared from the horizon, without even leaving contact information. Many years later, Polina Cherkasova will have to fall in love with this person again, find the strength in herself to tell Arseny the whole truth about her former life, and finally find out who is to blame for the accident,who claimed the lives of her child and husband.
Yuri Baturin as Arseniy
Baturin is a native of the Dnepropetrovsk region (Ukraine). There he graduated from the theater school, and then went to receive a director's education at GITIS. But the 90s were not the best time for many actors, so Yuri Baturin left the profession and began to master other speci alties: for the longest time he worked as a bartender, a restaurant administrator and a truck driver.
When Baturin was already well over thirty, his former classmate called him and offered to return to the world of cinema. Yuri decided to take a chance, and he managed to find his former form: in 2006 alone, the actor took part in seven television projects. True, he got the main role in only one - in the series "Women's Stories".
In the film "One More Chance" Baturin had a chance to play a rather romantic hero. Arseniy remembered Polina for a long time after their only meeting and tried to find a woman. And when she appeared in his company as a new employee, at first he was delighted, but then he was offended by Polina's deliberate coldness. After a long series of omissions and misunderstandings, the main characters nevertheless found a common language and resumed their romance.

Kirill Safonov, star of the series "Pilot of International Airlines" and "Tatiana's Day", in the project "One More Chance" got the role of Polina's husband, who later crashed in a car accident.
Alexander Naumov played the main anti-hero - Polina's boss, who tactlesslyharassed her at work. Naumov can also be seen in the projects "Bouncer", "Husband on Call" and "Tomorrow".
