Zoya, despite her predisposition to science, chose literature as her life's work. And it all started with a passion for the school theater, where she not only played, but also acted as the author of plays. Not a single literary evening passed without the participation of Zoya Boguslavskaya.
After graduating from school, she entered GITIS at the theater department, where she completed her studies with honors.
Then in her life there was a postgraduate study at the Institute of Art History at the USSR Academy of Sciences. Boguslavskaya Zoya Borisovna, whose biography will interest any literary critic, successfully defended her dissertation. She got a job as an editor at the Soviet Writer publishing house, and in addition was a lecturer at the Highertheater school in Moscow. The direction of creativity and other publications
The public most appreciated such books by the writer as "Seven hundred new", "Close", "Delusion", "Protection".
At one time, critics were divided into two fronts. Someone sang the talent of a prose writer, someone shouted about apoliticality and excessive digging into the psychological depths of the human soul.
According to the prose writer himself, her works have always been aimed at generating peace, light and goodness in the souls of readers. She writes about people filled with optimism. Yes, sometimes they are in difficult life situations, but under no circumstances do they lose respect forand proper optimism. They accept life as it is and don't blame fate.
Zoya Boguslavskaya made the complete absence of negative characters a feature of her works. She is not interested in their spiritual conflicts. If there is an unkind hero in her work, then in the end he will turn out to be just a confused person who deserves sympathy, not contempt.
Zoya Boguslavskaya, whose biography contains meetings with many talented people of the 20th century, wrote a lot about her friends and comrades. These were her famous essays "Liza and Baryshnikov, Misha and Minelli", "The Time of Lyubimov and Vysotsky". The collection of essays "Unfictional Stories" has also gained popularity, which contains memories of meetings with prominent people (Marc Chagall, Brigitte Bardot, Vladimir Vysotsky, Arkady Raikin and many others are mentioned).
The writer found special approval in America. In addition to the above, Zoya Borisovna became the author of the book "American", written in an artistic and journalistic style. In the US, this work has received several literary awards and was filmed.
