Boris Ivanov was a native of the city of Odessa. He was born on February 28, 1920. His father was a plumber and his mother was a housewife. Years of study

After that, he was mobilized to the North-Western Front with the rank of lieutenant of the quartermaster service. Last years of life
With age, the actor's condition began to deteriorate: he began to see poorly, but, nevertheless, found the strength to play in the theater. In 2002, Boris Vladimirovich went on tour "over the ocean" to present the play "Dear Friend" to the American audience.
His last work was a production called "Comedians", the author of which was Boris Shchedrin. He recalls the actor with special warmth: “When we started working on the play, I had no idea that Boris Vladimirovich was seriously unwell. He was always met and seen off, fearing that without guardianship he simply could not. But when he started to play, fatigue and melancholy evaporated with lightning speed: on stage, he turned into a venerable actor.”
Back in 1981, Ivanov was awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR.
The actor passed away December 2, 2002. Boris Ivanov was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery of the capital.
