On February 2, 1985, an incredibly sweet girl and talented performer Yulia Mikhalchik was born in Slantsy. Parents, Zhanna and Sergey, already in early childhood noticed their daughter's musical talent, so they tried their best to develop the abilities of little Yulia.

Childhood and music school

Already at the age of 6, Yulia went to first grade and at the same time entered a music school, choosing to play the piano. Immediately, the future singer begins to participate in all possible competitions, performing solo numbers, and already in 1996 she takes part in the children's show Samantha, and then becomes one of the young vocalists of the Radio and TV Channel 5 Choir. Despite the fact that the piano was given to Yulia easily, she took part in competitions only as a vocalist. Singing has become not only a hobby, but also a serious goal in the girl's life. So, in 1999, Yuliya Mikhalchik became one of the winners of the "Sounding Voices" contest, and the following year she took a prize in the international "Amber Star" contest, held in Jurmala.

In 2001, Yulia continues to perform at competitions and takes a place in the "Young Petersburg" festival, as well as in the "Voices of the World" competition. The singer earned her first Grand Prix at the "Idols of the 21st Century" contest, which served as an impetus for a new stage in the career of the performer.

Numerous performances at competitions nevertheless bore fruit, and in 2002, in one of the St. Petersburg clubs, where another performance took place, Yulia Mikhalchik met Sergei Kokaya, the founder of the vocal project "Korone". Student years and "Star Factory"

After graduating from secondary school with a silver medal, Yulia chooses St. Petersburg University for the Humanities to study Public Relations. Already in the 1st year, the girl becomes the host of a TV program on TNT, and then passes the casting for the famous "Star Factory-3". Due to participation in the project, Yulia is expelled from the university for absenteeism, but the game was worth the candle, because at the "Factory" she took 3rd place, thereby earning a gift from the judges in 3 clips and 1 album, and this is not counting the thousands of fans from all over Russia! Already in 2004, she released her first video called "With Ice", after which Yulia performed 2 duets with Al Bano as part of his concert program in the Kremlin. Then the singer takes part in the program "Melodies and Rhythms of Foreign Variety", where she performs with Ricardo Foli. In 2005, a video for the song "White Swan" was released, and Yulia gained popularity not only at home, but also in neighboring countries.
