Nikolai Filatov is a poet widely known in Belgorod and beyond. In addition to poems, Nikolai Grigorievich creates lyrics, and also produces. And this is not the whole list of achievements of this amazingly gifted person.

Biography and career

Nikolai Grigoryevich Filatov was born in 1959. He studied at the Kursk State Medical Institute, graduating in 1983. Passion for writing woke up in him quite early - the author created his first poetic works at the age of eleven. Since then, Nikolai Grigorievich has not stopped writing, becoming a professional poet.

Filatov's creative biography began with publications in local periodicals, and soon his works began to appear regularly on the pages of the central press. And in the late 80s - early 90s, the works of Nikolai Grigorievich were published abroad.

The poet's bibliography includes 7 author's poetry collections. The first printed edition dates back to 1993 - this is the collection “A star is burning overmaternal field. A year later, the book "Confession" was published, followed by the collections "The Bitterness of the Forest Fire" and "The Ring of Life" at intervals of two years. In 2003, the first electronic collection appeared with the lyrical title "The time of our hopes … The time of our losses …". In the same year, the song collection “I Give You Freedom” saw the light of day.

The author actively cooperates with children's institutions, schools and libraries, does charity work. He donated over 3,500 copies of his own books to various organizations.

Over 100 original texts have been set to music. One of the songs was presented at the international competition "Festos-2002", where it was performed by a student of Belgorod State University.

Nikolai Filatov is not limited only to poetry, he actively cooperates with the media, speaks on radio and television, and also organizes meetings with readers, takes part in creative and literary competitions as a member of the jury. In addition, Nikolai Grigorievich is developing his own production center.

In the life of the poet Nikolai Filatov, 2003 was a very productive year. In August, he founded his production center. Nikolai Filatov devotes a huge amount of time not only to poetry, but also to the search for talented performers and composers.

Two discs of original songs were recorded and released. More than 120 musical compositions have been created based on Nikolai Filatov's poems. The lion's share of these works became hits, among which arethe following:

This World of Wonders

The author's poetry collection "This World of Wonders" is small in volume - it includes poems created between 2005 and 2009.

But not only this distinguishes it among the author's printed publications. The collection is a kind of creative experiment, since the texts included in it have a satirical bias with a bit of irony and sarcasm, which is generally not typical for the poet's work.

In addition, the relevance and demand for N. G. Filatov's work is also due to the fact that his works reflect key events in public life in a difficult time for Russia.

Poems for children

In his work, Nikolai Filatov did not ignore the younger generation. Under his authorship, a wonderful collection of poems for children has been released.

The history of this book is quite interesting. Once Nikolai Grigorievich spoke in the children's library, and after the readings, the library director suggested that the poet write poetry for his grandson. The author was so inspired by this idea that he created a whole collection addressed to very young readers aged three to seven.
