Gordon Dmitry is a well-known Ukrainian writer, journalist, politician, known to the viewer from the television program "Visiting Dmitry Gordon".
Young years
A native of Kiev showed himself as a very gifted child in childhood, knowing by heart all the countries of the planet and their main cities at the age of five. He graduated from school at the age of 15, having passed all the exams externally.
In his youth, he was very fond of the history of revolutions, read a lot, wrote dozens of letters to Soviet celebrities with a request to send an autograph and a photo. Only Leonid Utyosov and Iosif Kobzon answered the boy. Then there was study at the Kiev Civil Engineering Institute, the army after the third year; Dmitry carried two years of service in the rocket troops near Leningrad, leaving from there as a sergeant.

Began publishing from the second year of KazISS; his articles were published in newspapers such as Molod Ukrainy, Vecherny Kyiv, Moloda Gvardiya, Sportivna Gazeta, Komsomolskoye Znamya. He took his first interview, published in the Luhansk edition of Molodogvardeets, from the idol of all the boys, Leonid Buryak, a midfielder of Dynamo Kyiv. In the Kyiv press (newspaperKomsomolskaya Znamya) was the first to publish an interview with Igor Belanov, a Soviet forward. In later years, as he gained experience and importance, Dimitri could do five interviews a day. The longest, 5-hour conversation was recorded with Viktor Suvorov, a famous writer and Soviet intelligence officer. The most memorable for Gordon was a conversation with cartoonist Boris Efimov, who at that time had crossed the 107-year age limit. Vyacheslav Tikhonov and Nonna Mordyukova gave their last interviews to Dmitry. The author dreamed of interviewing Marina Vlady and Svetlana Alliluyeva.
The only one of the graduates of the higher educational institution was assigned to work in the editorial office of the newspaper "Vecherniy Kyiv", which solicited this from the rector of the institute. Gordon worked there until 1992, after which he moved to Kievskiye Vedomosti, and then to Vseukrainskiye Vedomosti.

I started publishing my own weekly newspaper "Boulevard" in June 1995. The publication quickly gained popularity and is published in large numbers. Renamed in 2005, "Gordon Boulevard" tells in an interesting and dynamic way about the brightest politicians, scientists, musicians, athletes. The newspaper has practically no age restrictions, which leads to a wide readership.
In 1999 Gordoncreated on television his own program "Visiting Dmitry Gordon", where he is also the host. The format of the program is conversations with famous and prominent contemporaries, including artists, writers, musicians, directors, and actors. More than 600 celebrities visited Gordon.
Gordon: versatile and charismatic
As a performer, he recorded about 80 songs and shot several clips, the most striking was the video clip recorded in a duet with Natalia Buchinskaya for the song "First Love". Dmitry Gordon is the author of 46 books. Among the most interesting is the book "Troubled Memory", which is a collection of 12 most interesting interviews with people whose names are inscribed in history. These are Vladimir Pozner, Sergey Bezrukov, Bella Akhmadulina and others. Fascinating and frank conversations with Andrei Makarevich, Konstantin Raikin, Mikhail Gorbachev, Vitali Klitschko, telling about the defeats and achievements of these people, were published in the book Between the Past and the Future. In the 8-volume book "Heroes of the Time of Troubles", on which Gordon worked for more than one year, there is a description of the fate of significant personalities, including Alexander Abdulov, Mikhail Zhvanetsky, Olga Aroseva, Rolan Bykov, Yuri Bogatikov, Anatoly Kashpirovsky. Conversations with him are collected in a separate volume.
In the process of work, Dmitry Gordon made friends with many of the heroes of his programs. He maintains warm relations with Yan Tabachnik, Vyacheslav Malezhik, Vakhtang Kikabidze, Roman Viktyuk, Oleg Bazilevich.
Dmitry Gordon is a diverse personality andeven managed to light up in the cinema, starring in an episodic role in the film work "Dau", dedicated to the Soviet physicist Lev Landau.
Dmitry is married to Ales Batsman, the editor-in-chief of the Gordon online publication, who previously worked as the editor of the Shuster program. Dmitry is a we althy father of five and an avid Dynamo Kyiv fan.
