Inga Budkevich is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actress. In the sixties of the last century, she was incredibly in demand in cinema. The actress has more than seventy roles, starting with the episode in "Carnival Night" and ending with the last work in 2004.
Childhood
Inga Budkevich is a native Muscovite. She was born in 1936. The father of the actress, Nikolai Budkevich, was a soldier. Since childhood, Inga dreamed of performing on stage. She knew for sure that after school she would enter a theater university.
War
During the Great Patriotic War, the family of Inga Budkevich was evacuated to Baku. Here the girl went to first grade. The actress recalled the war years as a hungry and dashing time. The only outlet for little Inga was cinema. She watched the film "Volga-Volga" an infinite number of times. The girl especially liked the heroine of Lyubov Orlova - Strelka. When Inga found out that the actress and her husband were staying at a city hotel, she was on duty at the gate all day long in the hope of meeting her idol. The girl managed to see Orlova. Furthermore,the star treated Inga with sweets. Many years later, actress Inga Budkevich met Orlova on the same set.
VGIK
After school, Inga Budkevich decided to enter the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography. The girl did not know with what passage she should appear at the exams. Seeing a huge crowd near the walls of the institute, she got scared and went to the school at the Maly Theater. In the corridor of the theater, she met her future classmates - Olga Bgan and Mikaela Drozdovskaya. The girls together picked up the necessary repertoire, with which they all returned to VGIK. Inga was enrolled in the course of Mikhail Romm and Vladimir Belokurov. Ariadna Shengelaya, Alexander Mitta, Andrei Tarkovsky, Vasily Shukshin studied with Budkevich.
After school
Inga Budkevich began acting in films during her studies. The student managed to star in four films:
- comedy by Eldar Ryazanov "Carnival Night";
- drama by Vasily Ordynsky "Four";
- youth film story by Felix Mironer "Street of Youth";
- comedy Maxim Ruf "Quarrel in Lukash".
After VGIK, the young actress was offered a job at Belarusfilm. Inga refused to move to Minsk. For a while there was hardly any work. Only in 1967 did director Sergei Gerasimov pay attention to Budkevich. The actress starred in an episode of his film "Journalist". Inga impressed the master so much that in a week she wasenrolled in the staff of the Gorky Film Studio.
Career
In the seventies, the actress starred a lot. Photos of Inga Budkevich could be seen on numerous posters and in popular Soviet magazines. The brightest roles of the actress:

- Lozovanova in Yuri Mastyugin's revolutionary film Come Free.
- Alla in Viktor Volkov's musical film "Dancing on the Roof".
- Zina in the adventure movie "Gorgon's Head".
In the 90s, Budkevich did notremained unemployed. She continued to actively act in films. By the early 2000s, the actress was invited only for episodic roles.
First husband
In the third year of VGIK, the actress began an affair with Eduard Izotov. He studied in the same group as Budkevich. He was a tall handsome young man with a dazzling smile and an amazing voice. All students dreamed of an affair with a handsome man. Inga was also fascinated by the guy. Gradually, their friendship grew into love, which was consolidated by marriage, which took place in June 1956. The young lived with the wife's parents. In 1960, the couple had a daughter, Veronica. The mother-in-law of the actress was categorically against this union. She literally hated her daughter-in-law, looking for a more suitable match for her son. The marriage fell apart.
In 1980, Inga Budkevich and Eduard Izotov officially divorced, although they parted much earlier. Former spouses maintained a good relationship. Budkevich was worried about Izotov. When the actor went to prison, she did everything possible to alleviate his plight. It was at this time that Inga and Eduard's granddaughter Dean was born. After prison, Izotov began to have serious he alth problems. He suffered several strokes, began to lose his memory. Until his very last days, Budkevich visited her ex-husband in the hospital.
Second husband
At forty-three, Inga Budkevich's personal life has changed dramatically. Director Yuri Mastyugin came to work at the Gorky Film Studio. The actress fell in love with him at first sight. The couple dated in secret for two years. ThenYuri insisted on marriage. Budkevich is still grateful to fate that she gave her a second husband. The actress admits that before meeting Yuri, she did not know anything about true love. Mastyugin surrounded with care not only Inga, but also her daughter. Veronica followed in the footsteps of her parents, becoming a theater and film actress. She started acting at a young age. Now her filmography includes more than fifty works.
