Inga Budkevich is a native Muscovite. She was born in 1936. The father of the actress, Nikolai Budkevich, was a soldier. Since childhood, Inga dreamed of performing on stage. She knew for sure that after school she would enter a theater university.

After school, Inga Budkevich decided to enter the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography. The girl did not know with what passage she should appear at the exams. Seeing a huge crowd near the walls of the institute, she got scared and went to the school at the Maly Theater. In the corridor of the theater, she met her future classmates - Olga Bgan and Mikaela Drozdovskaya. The girls together picked up the necessary repertoire, with which they all returned to VGIK. Inga was enrolled in the course of Mikhail Romm and Vladimir Belokurov. Ariadna Shengelaya, Alexander Mitta, Andrei Tarkovsky, Vasily Shukshin studied with Budkevich.

Inga Budkevich began acting in films during her studies. The student managed to star in four films:

  • comedy by Eldar Ryazanov "Carnival Night";
  • drama by Vasily Ordynsky "Four";
  • youth film story by Felix Mironer "Street of Youth";
  • comedy Maxim Ruf "Quarrel in Lukash".

After VGIK, the young actress was offered a job at Belarusfilm. Inga refused to move to Minsk. For a while there was hardly any work. Only in 1967 did director Sergei Gerasimov pay attention to Budkevich. The actress starred in an episode of his film "Journalist". Inga impressed the master so much that in a week she wasenrolled in the staff of the Gorky Film Studio.

Gradually, their friendship grew into love, which was consolidated by marriage, which took place in June 1956. The young lived with the wife's parents. In 1960, the couple had a daughter, Veronica. The mother-in-law of the actress was categorically against this union. She literally hated her daughter-in-law, looking for a more suitable match for her son. The marriage fell apart.

In 1980, Inga Budkevich and Eduard Izotov officially divorced, although they parted much earlier. Former spouses maintained a good relationship. Budkevich was worried about Izotov. When the actor went to prison, she did everything possible to alleviate his plight. It was at this time that Inga and Eduard's granddaughter Dean was born. After prison, Izotov began to have serious he alth problems. He suffered several strokes, began to lose his memory. Until his very last days, Budkevich visited her ex-husband in the hospital.

At forty-three, Inga Budkevich's personal life has changed dramatically. Director Yuri Mastyugin came to work at the Gorky Film Studio. The actress fell in love with him at first sight.
