In the literary work we are considering, the real world is reproduced with its nature, events, people, their characters. It exists in time and space. But the world of the work itself is conditional, it only reflects our reality. The intangibility of literary characters makes it possible to instantly move from one space to another. In particular, it is enough for the author of the narrative to write "in the meantime, something happened there," and the reader is immediately transported to the right place.
Genre of work
The book "Women's Solidarity, or Survive No Matter What" is written in the fantasy genre. The storyline is based on an unusual assumption for which there is no rational explanation. This is not science fiction, but something like a fairy tale. The events described in the book take place in our time and in conditional reality, in the so-called parallel world. The author makes an attempt to go beyond the idea of the work, expanding the range of problems that the characters have and their relationships.
The main character and her adventure
The plot captures the reader literally from the firstbook chapters. We are talking about a serious independent girl who, at the request of her friend, agrees to replace the sick one in the planned role-playing games. Here is such female solidarity.
But, as it turned out, role-playing games are not at all what the heroine of the story, Margarita, assumed. The girl understands that only an escape from these veiled games will save her from the fate of spending the night with a lesbian. The plan was carried out, and Margarita runs away. But new obstacles appear - a forest where she got lost and saw a wolf, and a river that must be crossed to escape from the beast. This is where the reality of life ends. The river swallows the girl.
Margarita's life in a parallel world
From this moment on, the author of the book opens to the reader a picture of a parallel world, where the soul of Margarita is transferred by the will of fate. The body of a young healer killed by a dragon becomes a vessel for a new soul. This is like female solidarity on the part of the healer, manifested in the opportunity to move into her body. Events outside of reality begin to gradually develop, as do the actions of the characters involved in the cause-and-effect relationships.
The storyline in a parallel world begins from the moment when Margarita woke up in a strange body and did not understand where she was, seeing the characters, as it seems to her, from role-playing games. Next, Margarita undergoes a transformation. A serious and well-mannered girl who lived in the real world suddenly begins to behave inparallel as an unbalanced child who is looking for adventure.
This important detail makes one of the main characters of the parallel world think that it was not Karol who returned to life from the world of the dead, which she was before the murder. Now this is not a quiet, calm healer, stuffed with life. She is talkative and straightforward and not at all a gray mouse. Yes, and she had a gift, which is not really disclosed. This is another soul, but it is not clear how she could take the place of the deceased.
The author's idea and its implementation
The book "Women's Solidarity" contains scenes that, at first glance, could be missing in the text, but without them there would not be a complete picture of life in this fabulous parallel world. The author makes it clear that while there are people, regardless of the world of their habitat, there are complex and diverse relationships between them. Queen Margot pays special attention to the descriptions of the events, as if convincing the reader of the realism of what is happening. The reader gets so used to what is happening in the parallel world that somehow feels sorry for Margarita, who managed to fall in love "on the other side" and at the end of the story comes out of a coma.
What's next? What changes await her in her life? Queen Margot wrote that the book "Women's Solidarity" has a sequel.
Time is illusory and is created by the alternation of our states of consciousness as we wander through Eternity. It is this idea that Queen Margot forms in her readers. Women'ssolidarity, or Survive no matter what” is a book that, thanks to its plot, original composition and stunningly simple denouement, will certainly be of interest to fans of the fantasy genre. But in order to draw your own conclusions, it is better to familiarize yourself with this work.
