David Guintoli was born on June 18, 1980 in the north of the USA in Milwaukee. He spent his childhood in the independent American city of St. Louis. He has Italian, Polish and Austrian roots.
David graduated from high school in St. Louis. At the age of 18, he entered Indiana University, located in Bloomington. The American received a degree in international business and finance only in 2004.
After graduating from university, Gvintoli returned to his hometown, where he began taking acting lessons from the head of the school theater club.
David's parents say that already in childhood he showed a comedic talent - he was great at making people laugh. Therefore, they supported their son when he decided to become an actor.

David Guintoli first appeared on television in 2003 in the reality show "Greedy Extreme".

In June 2017, it became known that David Guintoli and Bitsy Tulloch got married. The romantic relationship between them began during the filming of the American series "Grimm", where the actors played lovers.
David told reporters that until the end of the third season, there was only friendly relations between him and Bitsy. The girl even tried to set him up with her friends, helped to choose clothes for dates.
