Today we will learn how to draw Star Butterfly step by step with a pencil.

Basis

We draw the base of the contour of the future princess: a circle and a slightly inclined hexagon. We draw a circle in place of the future waist, partially inscribing it in the two lower corners of the hexagon. Now you can draw a "skirt", starting with the top half of the circle.

We divide the large circle into four parts, designate the axes around which we will draw the facial features of Star Butterfly. We outline the places where the nose and mouth will be.

Axes

Many people have problems with drawing the hands and feet of the characters. We outline the axes again. Star Butterfly keeps her hands on either side of her body and her toes apart. We draw small elongated hexagons at the ends of the axes for the hands, and at the ends of the axes for the legs we make a sketch of the base for future boots.

Face

Star Butterfly wears a dress with short sleeves that covers her arms about a quarter. They end in the same place as the head. In fact, from the top corner of both sleeves, you can draw a vertical line to the edge of the princess's face.

Carefully draw the hands, fitting the brushes into hexagons. Star has four fingers, the middle two are pushed together, about the width of her thumb.

Lower torso

Draw the bottom of the dress and handbag in the form of a star. Let's not forget the frills. We outline the strap over the shoulder of the princess. On the outer side of the star, draw two eyes looking to the side and a smiling mouth.

Legs

Draw legs and boots. Again the axes will tell us how to draw. Star Butterfly wearsdragon boots. Their button eyes are on the vertical axes just below their intersection lines with the top of the soft hexagons. We draw teeth on the soles and horns on the noses with sharp lines.

The boots end just in the middle between the skirt and the eyes of the dragons. Outline the legs above.

Details

Time to pay attention to small details. We draw the outline of the princess's luxurious hair, the frills on the sleeves, the pattern on the dress, the collar and the stripes on the tights.
