Biography

Konstantin Belyaev was born in the village of Bolshaya Dolina, not far from Odessa. The mother of the future artist Nadezhda Alexandrovna was a state farm worker. My father died at the front, his name was Nikolai Zakharovich. Until 1953, Konstantin Belyaev studied at a special boarding school. A number of subjects in this institution were taught in English. Went to Moscow. He became a student at the Institute of Military Translators. I studied there for three years. During the post-war demobilization, almost the entire course of his institute was disbanded. Belyaev went near Almaty to the Otar station. There he taught English for a year in high school. Went to Moscow. Became a student at the Institute of Foreign Languages. He graduated from high school in 1960, having received the speci alty of an English teacher and translator. By distribution, I ended up at Sheremetyevo Airport to work. Took the position of dispatcher-translator.

Bimprisonment and freedom

In 1983, Konstantin Belyaev was sentenced to 4 years for “illegal fishing”. He served his term in the walls of a colony with a reinforced regime near Vologda, in Ustyuzhna. The investigation went on for about a year. The future musician changed 4 prisons during this period. After his release, he was a night watchman in garage societies. Later he became a teacher at a boarding school for orphans. In 1988-1993 he worked in private business. In parallel, he began to actively record. In 1996, for the first time, he worked at a professional studio called "Rock Academy". Soon the first solo disc was released. In 2009, our hero underwent surgery in a Moscow hospital. After that, he was transferred to the intensive care unit. There he died in 2009, February 20.

Creativity

Konstantin Belyaev wrote songs mainly based on poems by other authors. He also performed other people's compositions. In particular, the musician turned in songs to the work of Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Yevtushenko, as well as Igor Ehrenburg. In the repertoire of our hero there are about 400 compositions: romances, lyrics, Odessa-Jewish. He also recorded with M. V. Inozemtsev at the studio called "Northern Motif". Although he preferred to work with Moscow friends Vyacheslav Samvelov, Sergei Lepeshkin and Alexander Volokitin. In total, since 1966 he has released 73 concerts and albums.
