Sergey Orekhov - seven-string guitarist. Born October 23, 1935 in Moscow in a large family. His father is a mechanic by profession, his mother is a cook, and his grandfather worked at a factory where beer was produced. Sergei had two brothers and one sister (our hero is the eldest).
Biography
Sergey Orekhov started learning to play the guitar at the age of 15 using a tutorial. His friend mastered the button accordion in the same way. The future guitarist decided to find a good tutor. Subsequently, he studied with Kuznetsov Vladimir Mitrofanovich. We are talking about a guitarist, who is also known for writing a book about playing string instruments, was (as it would be called this activity in our time) a tutor for many musicians from Moscow.
Sergey Orekhov could play the six-string guitar. However, he did not officially speak with her. The musician was engaged in a guitar circle with a well-known enthusiast - V. M. Kovalsky. The string instrument was not his only hobby. In addition to playing on it, Sergey was engaged in drawing, from the age of fourteen to sixteen he studied at a circus school, but, unfortunately, he failed at one of the performances, injured his hand.
GuitaristSergei Orekhov was so strong in spirit, in love with creativity, that even illness did not prevent him from performing musical works - polyarthritis at an early stage (he was sent as a radio operator to serve in the army near Leningrad, where he caught a bad cold. As a result, he received a severe form of the disease). After the army, he studied for two years at the Gnesinsky educational institution in Moscow (the most prestigious university for musicians).
Creativity
In 1956, he began working with Zhemchuzhnaya Raisa (a performer of gypsy romances) at the Mosconcert until her retirement, namely seven years. Then he performed with his wife Tishinina Nadezhda Andreevna. She performed old romances and gypsy songs. They got married when the prominent guitarist was 28.
Sergey was the accompanist of Alexander Vertinsky, Vadim Kozin, Galina Kareva, Sofya Timofeeva and Tatyana Filimonova (gypsy romances). He performed a duet with the famous singer and composer Anatoly Shamardin. Many consider this combination to be very successful and harmonious, as well as interesting and pleasant to listen to. He was also glorified by his work with Alexei Perfilyev in a jazz and gypsy ensemble called "Jang", the leader of which at that time was Nikolai Erdenko, a violinist and famous singer. Subsequently, a joint duet of Sergei Orekhov and Alexei Perfilyev was organized. Moreover, the latter specialized in the six-string guitar. He composed many romances and songs. Rewrote repertoires for six-string guitar, because thiskind of instrument was very popular at that time.

Despite the fact that Sergei had limited access to television, he still appeared on TV a couple of times. Died at 62 due to a heart attack.
