The Voronezh Chamber Theater is one of the youngest in our country. It has been in existence for over 20 years. His repertoire combines classics and modernity. In addition to performances, exhibitions and lectures are held here.

About the theater

The Voronezh Chamber Theater opened its doors in 1993. It is state, repertoire. Today, 17 artists serve in his troupe. About 180 productions take place in one season. In the early years of the theater's existence, there were only four actors.

For many years, the artists rehearsed and played performances at the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers. The Voronezh Chamber Theater did not have its premises for 21 years. He received a new building only in 2014. It has two auditoriums. One is designed for 180 seats. The second can accommodate only 80 spectators and is equipped with a transforming stage. The first performance staged in the new building was Pushkin's Boris Godunov.

The Voronezh Chamber Theater has been famous for its performances throughout the years of its existence. Even today, his playbill offers interesting extraordinary performances. Troupe since 1996goes on tour and takes part in festivals. The theater has chosen for itself a way of self-expression through acting individuality. He continues and preserves the best traditions of Russian performing arts.

The theater is directed by Mikhail Bychkov. The performances of the Voronezh residents have repeatedly become nominees and laureates of the Golden Mask. Actress Tatyana Kutikhina received the coveted award as the best performer of the female role. The productions of the troupe often became laureates of various festivals.

Exhibitions

"Putti's Tricks" is an exhibition of artist Nina Proshunina (Nanika). Here you can see a whole series of her works. Nina collaborated with the Voronezh Chamber Theater. Exhibition "Scenography, costumes". Here you can see the works of the famous theater artist Alexei Golod. He began his career at the Voronezh Theater. Was his main artist. Created set design and costumes.

Lectures

In addition to performances and exhibitions, the theater carries out an educational project. It was opened in February 2015. Its name is "Lecture at the Theatre". This project is supervised by the actor of the Voronezh Theater Kamil Tukaev.
