Their only difference is that, endowed with the gift to create magic, thirsting for the power of the personality of the hidden world,times more dangerous than people seeking power in the world of ordinary people.

The saga is silent about how things happened in past epochs, but apparently, no one had previously specifically aimed at reuniting in their hands the three most powerful artifacts that were once donated (as legends say) by Death itself to three the Peverell brothers. But until now, the ambitious and driven by the idea of changing the world for the better Grindelwald and Dumbledore have not entered the scene. But first - more about the artifacts themselves, or, as they are otherwise called, the "Deathly Hallows". To understand how and where Harry's resurrection stone ended up, you should plunge into the world of ancient fairy tales.

Deathly Hallows

There was once in ancient times such, so to speak, a writer, a writer of all kinds of fairy tales and fables. His name was the bard Beedle. And he has a fairy tale under the sonorous name "Deathly Hallows". She briefly talks about the following.

The action takes place in time immemorial. Three brothers were walking along the same road at dusk, until a river blocked this road. Those, without thinking twice, took out sticks and built a bridge with the help of magic. Right there, Death was always “hanging around” nearby, picking up the souls of those drowned in the river. But seeing that they were not going to drown, Bony decided to play a kind of game with them. For supposedly being so resourceful, Death decided to give each of them his gifts, one for each, while she herself secretly laid a certain catch in the essence of her proposal.

And then the middle brother committed suicide so that, having let her go, he himself would merge with her in the other world.

Death, chuckling, was already rubbing his hands, taking away two of his brothers. But the third, hiding under the mantle at the right time, did not catch her eye until her old age, and died a happy death.

Dumbledore and Grindelwald

They met for the first time in their youth. And it was Grindelwald who was the first to "dig" the ancient history. Joining him a little later, Dumbledore also began to help him in search of the Deathly Hallows. What plans they had for them will be revealed in the 2018 film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Tom Riddle (later Voldemort), as it turned out, was the offspring of this family, the son of the daughter of Marvolo Gaunt and a Muggle, whom she lured into her love networks through magic, while her daddy rotted in Azkaban. Tom Riddle killed his daddy, and turned the ring into a Horcrux, not even suspecting what kind of magical artifact the stone enclosed in the frame of thisringlet.

The fact that Death itself has a material incarnation, and even such that it watches over gaping passers-by at some river, simply amused him. When Harry was with him between the world of the living and the world of the dead at the ephemeral King's Cross station, Dumbledore made the following assumption about this (quote):

Harry is the offspring of Ignotus Peverell

As it turned out later, Voldemort and Harry Potter were both offspring of the ancient Peverell family. We will not go into the details of research about this. Thus, it is not known if the resurrection stone charm helped Harry to return, or if he never died. But the choice, as it became clear from the words of Dumbledore, Harry still had. Here is another excerpt from their conversation (saying Harry):
