Jennifer Jane Saunders is an English comedian, screenwriter, singer and actress. She has won three prestigious BAFTA awards, three Emmy awards, two Writers' Guild of Great Britain awards and the American People's Choice Awards.

In 1987, Jennifer Saunders and Don French created the popular comedy series French and Saunders, which aired until 2007. The couple continued their successful collaboration while simultaneously pursuing their own solo careers.
