At the end of the twentieth century, in 1991, Mark Levy, whose books did not yet exist even as an idea, decides on a risky venture. He, along with his friends, who have a technical education corresponding to the plan, becomes a co-founder of a company for the development of interior design and architectural projects. Thanks to the original approach, the combination of creative and technical principles and conscientious work, the company quickly became a leader in its niche in the French market. They carried out orders for corporations such as Coca-Cola, Perrier, Evian and many others. This company still exists, however, Mark himself no longer works in it, since creativity takes a lot of time and effort.

Creative life began for Mark Levy quite late, after forty. Prior to this, he often told stories to his son, usually making them up as he went. This helped to keep the flexibility of thinking and creative approach to work. Over time, the man got so used to it that he decided to write down his fantasies on paper, especially since the children grew up, and fairy tales were no longer a daily exercise before bedtime. He devoted all his free time to this. The first book that came out from under his pen was the novel Between Heaven and Earth. After reading by family members, the verdict was unequivocal: the manuscript must be sent to the publisher. Sister Mark Levy was especially insistent on this. She recommended her friend to him as the first independent critic and was not mistaken. A week later, a positive response came, and the book met with its readers. Mark Levy woke up famous, as they say.

Soon the writer leaves his firm in order to closely engage in his work. Of course, he does not prioritize the creation of the Mark Levy brand. The books coming out from under his pen turn out to be bright, memorable, captivating into their universe and forcing you to empathize with the characters to the last page. The images of the characters, their characters are close to the reader, he tries to try on their actions on himself, to give them an assessment. This is what captivates in novels: simplicity, brightness and vitality of plots and characters.

The second passion of the author was films, or rather, their directing. Firstthe short film hits the screens, but does not have much success. This does not stop Mark, who works more for his own pleasure than for wanting to prove something to anyone. It is not known if he is working on another project. Fans have hopes for this, albeit weak, but hopes.

Screenings

Movies based on Mark Levy appear with enviable regularity. In 2005, the novel Between Heaven and Earth, starring Reese Witherspoon, was filmed. He gained popularity not only in France, but also far beyond its borders. In 2007, a short series based on the work "If You Were Here" appeared. For its filming, the writer lived in the Dominican Republic for three weeks in order to create maximum authenticity when writing the script.

In 2008, the author's older sister writes the script for the book "Everyone Wants to Love" and makes a film based on it, which is also becoming popular both in the author's homeland and abroad.

Despite the ever-increasing fame, abundance of fans and undoubted talent, literary awards still bypass the author. Writer Mark Levy comments on this as follows: “… there are more than a hundred literary prizes in France, but they are of interest only to those who present them and to whom they are awarded. This is an atavism that will soon fade into oblivion.”

Fame has another side. Quite quickly after appearing on the Internet, Levy's books were taken apart by fans for quotes. Today, even taken out of context, they continue to reflect the main idea of all the author's books - love, kindness and humanity overcomeall. It is not known what Mark Levy himself thinks about this. Quotes often remain unsigned, but the peculiarities of style and presentation betray the creator: "Life is wonderful, but you notice it when it tiptoes away from you. We often hold a grudge against a person who has revealed to us a difficult truth that is impossible to believe in." Of course, many have heard these and other statements.

Now the writer is working on a new book, he does not disclose its title and does not set a release date, but fans will faithfully wait for a new novel, no matter how long the work lasts.
