Storyline
It's been about ten years since an attempt was made to kill the heroine portrayed by Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor). The army of machines sends a new robot to the 90s, which is able to take on any guise. Liquid Metal finds out where John Connor lives and goes to eliminate him.
The young man comes to the aid of another robot - T-800, belonging to the machines of the previous generation. This image was taken by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Terminator, by the way, distinguished himself by not killing anyone (he only injured a few characters).
The boy realizes that all his mother's "crazy" stories were true, and he asks his new ally to go to a psychiatric hospital in order to rescue Sarah. Gradually, John becomes emotionally attached to the robot and even teaches him some skills inherent in ordinary people. Sarah, meanwhile, does not fully trust the machine that arrived from the future.
How much is the word Schwarzenegger
Of course, the main star of this film was Arnold Schwarzenegger. Terminator in his performance turned out to be quite colorful. In the entire film, the actor spoke only seven hundred words. At the same time, his fee was 15 million dollars. As a result, it turns out that one word of a celebrity could be estimated at about 22 thousand dollars. Although it is worth mentioning that in the original tape, the star says 58words, and for participation in the project he was paid 750 thousand dollars.
Note that only Schwarzenegger received 15 million - the second protagonist of the blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day was much less fortunate. Edward Furlong earned only $30,000 for his role.
