Many people are professional dancers or just put on upbeat music and move around to lift their spirits. Often, little girls, and even boys, are sent to a dance club, where children can learn this art. This is an excellent choice, because scientists have long established that body movements increase the level of the hormone in the human body, which is responsible for a good mood, give positive emotions, help the child become more flexible and physically developed. Each parent decides for himself which circle to send the child to, based on his individual needs and desires. Many people like the paired children's dance, both boys and girls do it. In this article, you will learn the features of some types of art.
This type of dance is performed by two persons - a man and a woman. That is why it is called "pair dance". It is the opposite of solo and group dances. During it, the partners do not move away from each other, but remain together. If several more couples perform at the same time, then they are on the floor regardless of other participants. Pair dance has one feature - the roles in it are divided, usually the man acts as the leader, and the woman as the follower.
Sport couple dancing
There are several types, below we will briefly describe some of them.
Jive
This type of dance appeared in the USA in the 40s of the last century, it has African American roots. The main feature of this dance is that it is some kind of swing. It is dominated by fast and free movements. Although there are many similarities, modern pair dance differs from swing, although it shares the same features - some figures and movements. The tempo of the jive is 44 beats per minute, and the time signature is 4/4. Often it is performed at various kinds of ballroom dancing competitions. Moreover, jive is almost always the final part of the program. This ballroom pair dance is very fast, creative, and allows partners to demonstrate their excellent physical fitness. The main figure is a syncopated highway. Movements are performed to the left and right, followed by a slow step back and return forward. Steps are taken from the toe, and the body weight is always distributed from foot to other foot. When performing this Latin American dance, the dancers do not jump.
Rumba
This type of dance has two meanings. In the first sense, the word "rumba" means music and art that came from Cuba. One of the most popular is the Guaguanco rumba, the rest have their own characteristics, but they are usually very similar.
The second meaning of the word "rumba" is one of the types of modern ballet dances. It is also included in the competition program. This couple dance is the slowestamong other types - cha-cha-cha, paso doble, jive, samba. Rumba is an African-style Cuban dance. Features - erotic and smooth movements, they are also combined with a wide step. The most popular tune is the creation of Joséito Fernandez - Guantanamera. The rumba itself began to appear in the 19th century. It was at the beginning of this century in Cuba that there were 3 versions of such a performance, one of them was later called the “dance of love” - it was Guaguanco. In this dance art, a man dances with a woman and wants to touch her thighs, and the lady avoids it in every possible way, it seems that she is teasing her partner and at the same time holding back his passion.
Samba
Samba is a dance that has become popular worldwide thanks to the Brazilian Carnival. Its tempo is 50 or 52 beats per minute, the size is 2/4 or 4/4. Paso doble used to be used in bullfights. It was performed for the first time in France, in the 30s it was quitepopular in Parisian society, which is why some of the steps are named in French. Then the paso doble was included in the sports ballroom dancing.

Whether to give the child toballroom dancing?
Many parents are concerned about the question: is it worth giving your child to ballroom dancing? They have become very popular over the past 20 years. You must remember that when you send a child to any circle at 4-5 years of age, you choose, not him. The child still cannot make an independent decision, he does not know whether he needs it or not. If you decide to send your child to sports ballroom dancing and want him to achieve great success, that's good, but weigh the pros and cons, because the baby will not have a normal childhood, although in our age of computers, performances will come in handy. If you see that the child likes it, then you should continue classes. It is possible that he will achieve great heights. To become successful, a child must work hard, but only if he wants to. Don't force him to get what you want.
Only parents can decide. Now you know the basic information about pair dancing. This is a very beautiful and popular art form.
