Rudinshtein Mark: biography. Childhood and adolescence

Rudinshtein's childhood fell on the difficult post-war years, when the country was just beginning to recover from a devastating war. Mark was born in Odessa in a Jewish family. And this origin is barelydid not lead the future actor to the wrong gangster path.

At school, among the students, he was the only representative of the Jewish nationality, and therefore was constantly attacked by his peers. And when another child from a Jewish family came to the educational institution where little Mark studied, they naturally became friends. The best way to defend, as you know, is to attack, so it is not surprising that these two guys have turned into a small gang. One of the skirmishes ended in a stabbing fight. As a result, young Rudinstein ended up in a children's colony.

Fathers and Sons

After some time in the penitentiary, Mark's father helped him get an early release. As Rudinstein himself recalls, his parent could have done this before, but did not, considering punishment an excellent way of educating. The son, however, did not appreciate this, and immediately after his release, he left his native Odessa for Nikolaev.

In general, it is worth noting that Mark's relationship with his parent was ambiguous. In his memoirs, Mark often said not too nice things about his father. However, as time has shown, Rudinstein Jr. rarely spares anyone in conversation.

Grigorievich, Izrailevich or Kasrylyevich

Usually Rudinstein is called Mark Grigoryevich, but the producer's passport has a completely different middle name - Izrailevich. It was this, frankly Jewish name that his father bore. And until the age of 21, Mark did not hide the name of his father. However, everything changed in 1967, when there was a militarythe conflict between Israel and Syria, which radically changed the attitude towards the Jewish state on the part of the Soviet Union. Rudinstein Mark, whose real name and patronymic is Mark Izrailevich, was serving in the army at that time. One can imagine how hard it was for him to have a patronymic, which suddenly became synonymous with the enemy. Therefore, he began to be called Grigoryevich, using the name of his grandfather. Gradually, they forgot about his real patronymic, although Mark Rudinshtein did not change his real patronymic in his passport.

The funny thing is that, in a good way, Rudinstein should have been called Konstantinovich or, in the Jewish version, Kasrylyevich. That was the name of his father at birth. However, in the wake of the enthusiasm associated with the creation of the Israeli state, Rudinstein Sr. changed his name.

Failed shipbuilder and eternal student

Having moved to Nikolaev at the age of 15, Mark got a job at a shipyard. However, he did not work there for a long time - he realized in time that a working speci alty was not his calling. Therefore, soon after the army, he moved to Moscow, where he entered GITIS.

Unfortunately, he was not allowed to graduate from this theater university - again, Jewish roots prevented him. I had to enter the part-time department in Shchukinsky. After graduating from it, Rudinshtein began to organize concerts of Soviet pop stars, and also became the director of the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Hello, song!".

In the dock

Work at the Rosconcert, on the one hand, duringin many ways revealed Rudinstein's talents as an intelligent organizer of events. On the other hand, she brought him to a prison cell.

In the early 80s, another witch hunt began - for any attempt at independent economic activity, one could get a considerable prison sentence. And Rudinstein, as they say, fell under the distribution. He was arrested for embezzlement of state property. The situation was frankly absurd - everyone was well aware that the leadership of Rosconcert had to spend money on transporting equipment and organizing entertainment events, and often a lot was done bypassing official channels. But they decided to find the culprits anyway.

Rudinshtein was sentenced to 6 years, however, he spent about a year in prison - after the review of the case, he was acquitted. However, the memories of his days spent in prison became some of the most painful in his life.

The worst day ever

Even the days spent behind bars, Rudinstein recalls with his usual sense of humor. Although there was little fun in those days. Mark had to spend months in an overcrowded cell, where there were not only people convicted under the "economic" article, but also real criminals. In many ways, he was helped by acquaintance with pop stars, about whom he could tell interesting stories.

But the worst thing for Rudinshtein was the transfer to the isolation ward, where his only roommate was the former Minister of Transport of Kazakhstan. According to the memoirs of Mark himself, the most terrible day in his life was New Year's Eve in 1987, whenthe prisoners were broadcasting a radio broadcast from Red Square all night, where people were having fun.

Rudinshtein almost broke down, dropped his hands. He suffered a heart attack. And only the help of friends, including Kobzon, forced him to file a petition for a review of the case. Rudinshtein was acquitted for lack of evidence.

Organization skills

After being released, Rudinstein continued to organize concerts. Fortunately, at that time, changes began in the country, and he was able to apply his truly Jewish commercial streak without any fear.

So, it was Mark who became the organizer of the legendary rock concert in Podolsk in 1987, which was called the Soviet analogue of Woodstock.

Later, Rudinstein became famous for acquiring the rights to the film "Intergirl", which became a truly cult during perestroika. This purchase brought Mark a very decent profit, but one of the subsequent crises destroyed almost everything he had acquired.

Creator of Kinotavr

Mark Rudinstein, whose photo you see in the article, was very active in organizing, but his main contribution to the cultural sphere was the creation of one of the largest festivals in the country today.

In 1990, Mark, on the basis of the Podmoskovye Leisure Center led by him, organized a national film festival, where tapes were presented for which there was no buyer. He won that film review, by the way, “Die, Freeze, Resurrect”, which subsequently successfully performed at Cannes.

Well, and himselfthe festival near Moscow became the prototype for a larger and more famous film forum. In 1991, thanks to the efforts of Rudinshtein, the first Kinotavr took place in Sochi. This festival was remembered not only as a show of good domestic cinema, but also as a hangout place for many movie stars, both Russian and foreign.

After many years as a producer of Kinotavr, Rudinstein, tired of the hard organizational work, resigned and sold the rights to host it.

Mark Rudinstein - producer, actor

After graduating from the Shchukin Theater School with a degree in acting, Mark has repeatedly acted in films. However, he himself frankly admits that his acting talent is not the greatest, and therefore most of his roles are episodic. Thanks to the charm and texture, his small roles were almost always bright and memorable. However, there were practically no high-profile films in his career.

He played his first role in 1992, in the film "A Short Breath of Love", which he himself produced. And in 1995 he played his first big role - a functionary in the film Pioneer Mary Pickford.

Mark Rudinstein, whose filmography currently includes more than a dozen films, plays mostly small roles. The most famous of them is "Come see me." Rudinstein also often appeared in TV series, in one of which - "Resort Romance" - he played one of the main roles. He produced three films in the early 90s as a producer.

Currentlytime Mark Grigorievich works in the acting troupe of the Theater of the Moon under the direction of Sergei Prokhanov. Here Rudinshtein enjoys the opportunity to just play small roles in performances without being the main star.

Scandalous memoirs

Who is Mark Rudinstein? You can see a photo of this wonderful person in the article. Like many famous personalities, Rudinstein received extremely mixed fame. And the reason for this is his scandalous revelations, which in 2010 generated a lot of noise in the press.

Mark Grigoryevich has always been quite skeptical about people. Communication with a large number of famous actors gave him the opportunity to see the inside of show business and the world of culture. You can be a great actor, but at the same time a disgusting person - this is how you can characterize his attitude towards many celebrities.

And in his memoirs, Rudinstein spared no one. The great Abdulov and Yankovsky also got it. Subsequently, Rudinshtein even had to apologize to the Yankovsky family.

The scandal began with the release of an excerpt from the book in one of the printed editions. This was followed by shooting in the program with Malakhov, but it turned out to be so full of obscene details that it did not go on the air. For a long time, the release of the memoirs themselves was a big question, but now you can find this work on the net.

Many people still cannot forgive Mark Grigorievich for discovering not the most pleasant aspects of the life of screen idols. To the credit of Rudinstein himself, it is worth noting that in relation to himself, he often does not spare critical and causticcomments.

Conflict with Mikhalkov

However, relations with certain iconic personalities of Russian cinema were spoiled long before the memoirs were released.

So, it is known about the conflict between Rudinstein and the odious Nikita Mikhalkov. Mark Grigoryevich himself considers Mikhalkov's dislike for Jews to be the basis of these hostile relations. In addition, Mikhalkov, as a product of the Soviet system, is clearly in conflict with the freedom and entrepreneurial spirit that Rudenstein demonstrates.

At the same time, Mark Grigorievich maintained normal relations with Mikhalkov's brother, Konchalovsky. By the way, it was thanks to Rudinshtein that the director met his future wife, Yulia Vysotskaya.

Private life

The active character of Mark Grigorievich also affected his personal life. He was married three times, but was not capable of a permanent relationship. As he himself noted, every 16 years a man needs a rebirth, new blood and new energy.

In addition to official relations, Rudinshtein had a rather unusual relationship with a girl who called herself an "intergirl". In many ways, this story, which Mark Grigoryevich himself told, resembles the plot of that very film, including the heroine's acquaintance with a foreigner.

A life well lived

Despite a series of scandals, Mark Rudinshtein, interesting facts from whose life were presented to your attention in the article, continues to lead an active life in the cultural sphere. He plays in the theater, leads totelevision program about cinema. In 2003, he received the title of Honored Artist, is called an honorary resident of his native Odessa. Yes, he often says out loud what he should have kept silent about, but this quality has always been inherent in Odessans. And in his 70 years, he has already done enough to believe that this life was not in vain.
