Ildar Zhandarev is a well-known Russian TV presenter of Tatar origin, whose programs have an audience of many thousands. His talk shows are especially popular. The most famous author's program is "Looking at Night", which is still aired on Channel One. Despite the late release time, this is a fairly rated project. How did Ildar Zhandarev gain such popularity? The biography and personal life of this person will be the subject of our careful study.
Early years
Ildar Vilgelmovich Zhandarev was born in January 1966 in Moscow. His father, Wilhelm Zhandarev, is a Tatar by birth. Naturally, the son, Zhandarev Ildar, has the same nationality.
All childhood, however, like most of his later life, Ildar lived in the capital of our Motherland - in Moscow. Of course, the capital's way of life left a certain imprint on his character and future fate. Since childhood, they began to notice creative inclinations in him. Although the parents wanted the boy to go on a technical path.
Study
Ildar studied at a local school in the capital. After its completion, toto please his parents, he entered the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute. This is the largest specialized educational institution in the country with a technical focus. It was founded in 1921, and today it has already acquired the status of a university. Ildar Zhandarev successfully graduated in 1989.
After graduating from high school, Ildar Vilgelmovich worked as an engineer in his immediate speci alty for about two years.
Coming to TV
In 1991, Ildar Zhandarev completely changed his life. He refused to work in the speci alty that he studied at the institute, as he found his real vocation - work on television. Of course, this act was quite bold and at first caused criticism from relatives, but the future showed that the guy made the right decision.
He began to work on the RTR channel, which was formed quite recently on the basis of the Second Channel. It was really at that time the second most important channel in the state. Here Ildar Zhandarev realizes his talent to the fullest. He is the host, author, director of various television projects that have won the love of the public. The most significant of them: “Kiss on the diaphragm”, “Story and “Paragraph”.
At that time, his senior comrade Boris Isaakovich Berman, who was the organizer of the K-2 Studio and was the head of the directorate of the RTR-film project, became his creative partner. He helped Ildar Zhandarev make the above programs and was their co-author. Later they worked together on many other channels.
Switch toNTV
In 1999, TV presenter Zhandarev, together with his colleague Boris Berman, went to work for NTV. At that time, it was one of the most popular commercial channels in Russia, which, moreover, was gaining momentum, trying to move as aggressively as possible in all market segments, covering both terrestrial television, satellite and cable. The channel made very high-quality and in-demand content, had many target units and a very powerful cast of presenters and journalists, among whom Evgeny Kiselev stood out.
On this channel, Zhandarev and Berman jointly made a series of films "Interesting Cinema". They really liked this work, because they could fully realize their ideas.
However, they did not have long to work on NTV. The channel was notable for its oppositional views towards the Russian government, and besides, its owner, media mogul Vladimir Gusinsky, was involved in dark schemes. Therefore, in 2001, the channel changed its owner. A significant part of the team of journalists left NTV in protest and went to work on the TV-6 channel, where Yevgeny Kiselev became the head. Among them were Zhandarev and Berman.
At a new location
On the TV-6 channel, colleagues continued to shoot a series of films "Interesting Cinema". In addition, Ildar Vilhelmovich launches his author's program "Without Protocol". By and large, nothing has changed for Zhandarev and Berman: they worked on the same projects as on NTV, in the same mode and with the same team. This allowedhope for a more stable future and confidence in the future.
But in 2002 this channel is closed. The formal reason was the demand to declare the channel bankrupt from one of the state-owned companies, which owned 15% of the shares. But they say that the real owner of TV-6 was Boris Berezovsky, who used the channel to criticize the government.
On TVS channel
Be that as it may, but in 2002 Zhandarev and Berman again change their location. This time, the TVS channel becomes their place of work. This television and radio company was founded by Yevgeny Kiselev and his team after the closure of TV-6. Kiselev became the chief editor of the channel. The team owned 10% of the company's shares. There, Zhandarev and Berman continue to do what they did while working for previous television companies, namely, to release programs “Without Protocol” and “Interesting Cinema.”
But the band pursued real rock. Due to a lack of funding and growing arrears in both wages and other obligations, the TVS channel was closed.
Switch to Channel One
After the TVS was closed, Zhandarev and Bergman received an invitation from the leadership of Channel One to go to work with them. The journalists accepted this offer. Here they continued to work on a series of programs "Interesting Cinema". In addition, since 2004 they have been making a special edition of the program - "Interesting Cinema in Berlin". It comes out every year around the 20th of February. The last release of this special project was in 2014.
In the fall of 2004, Ildar Zhandarev and Boris Berman, as TV presenters of Channel One, hosted the Five Evenings program, which was devoted to discussing the sensational TV series The Moscow Saga, based on the trilogy by Vasily Aksenov. Then they replaced Andrey Malakhov.
In addition, the partners led the opening and closing ceremonies of the Moscow Film Festival, during which they took numerous interviews with movie stars and directors. This was a regular duty of Zhandarev and Berman from 2004 to 2013.
Transmission "Looking at night"
But the biggest success of the joint work of Zhandarev and Berman was their joint project “Looking at Night”. This program is a kind of talk show, where the hosts talk with a popular cultural figure in various fields: cinema, theater, literature, music, etc. Among the invited heroes of the program are such well-known names as Grigory Leps, Natalya Negoda, Tina Kandelaki, Viktor Sukhorukov, Alexander Baluev, Nikita Mikhalkov, Mikhail Turetsky, Maxim Dunaevsky, Sergey Shnurov, Andrei Konchalovsky, Nikolai Tsiskaridze, Elena Vaenga, Dima Bilan, and many others. Channel One TV presenters asked them sharp and interesting questions, to which they received no less interesting answers.
This project was a kind of rebirth of the No Protocol program. The main difference was that the presenters refused to discuss political topics and invite politicians as guests of the studio, as they did in the previous program. Alsoquite interesting is the creative approach of the authors, who are also the leaders, to the organization of the program. While hosting a talk show, they take on the idiosyncratic roles of "good cop and bad cop."
The program "Looking at the Night" began to appear since 2006. At first, it came out daily on weekdays, but then it was decided to stop at the weekly format. The duration of the TV broadcast is about 1 hour, including a break for commercials. However, at one time the program was released seasonally, and only since 2010 has it firmly taken its place in the broadcast network. Until the end of 2007, the Soho Production studio was engaged in its production. After that, until today, the program is being produced by Orange Studio and Red Studio, owned by the Red Square TV company.
The program owes its name to a rather late airing - around midnight. But, despite such a late time, "Looking at Night" won its target audience. And enjoys continued popularity with viewers.
Evaluated the TV program and critics. In 2008 and 2009, she received the highest Russian television award TEFI in the Interviewer nomination.
The program “Looking at Night” goes on the air of Channel One and is very popular to this day. To do this, its presenters Ildar Zhandarev and Boris Berman are making every effort. Fortunately, they have plenty of creative thinking and charisma, so necessary when creating such programs.
Merit
In addition to the TEFI award for the program "Looking at Night", Ildar Zhandarev has other achievements and awards.
He is a member of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts "Nika", a member of the Union of Cinematographers, and a member of a very honorable organization - the Academy of Russian Television. But, of course, even greater awards and achievements await Ildar Zhandarev in the continuation of his television career.
Private life
The public is naturally interested in who Ildar Zhandarev lives with, the personal life and composition of the family of this TV presenter.
Although Ildar Vilgelmovich is in his sixties, he has no children. There were even rumors about his relationship with Boris Berman, invariably paired with whom he has been working on various Russian channels since 1991, that is, for more than 25 years. Unfounded rumors were generated by the fact that Zhandarev and Berman lived together. In addition, they always appear together at various events. At the same time, none of them gave official confirmation of these rumors. And they explain their constant appearance in public places together by the fact that over 25 years of joint work, viewers perceive creative partners as a whole and do not recognize them separately. In addition, they are bound, of course, by many years of true friendship.
But in an interview given in 2006, Ildar Zhandarev spoke in more detail about his personal life. His family is himself and his wife Anna, with whom they have been living since the early 2000s. Ildar says that he loves her very much, and he could only dream of such a woman before.
General characteristics
Famous Russian TV presenter Ildar VilgelmovichZhandarev is one of the most recognizable journalists in the country. The programs created by him in the company with his partner Boris Berman are really quite interesting and exciting, they make viewers think about important universal human values. The refined and benevolent manner of communication of the smiling Zhandarev with the invited guests contrasts sharply with the more rude and skeptical form of communication of the gloomy Berman, which gives the duet a great originality. But, despite the apparent gentleness, Ildar firmly defends his opinion when working issues are raised.
It's safe to say that all the projects that Ildar Zhandarev undertakes are made as professionally as possible, as evidenced by the constant high rating of his author's programs. But let's hope that the best and most interesting programs from Ildar Wilhelmovich await us in the future. We wish him creative success.
