Victoria Fedorova, films with which many have seen, had a very difficult fate. On her life you can shoot a separate picture. Many films have been released with her participation. Victoria followed in the footsteps of her mother, and already at the age of eighteen, fame came to her. Only Victoria did not become a cinematic legend, despite the many pictures taken.
Family
Victoria Fedorova, daughter of Zoya Fedorova, was born on 1946-18-01 in Moscow. Her parents' love story was somewhat tragic. Jackson Roger Tate arrived in Moscow, where he met Zoya. They started dating, but after a while he was expelled from the USSR. He was informed in an anonymous letter that Zoya was married and asked not to disturb her. Tate stopped writing to her, never knowing that he had a daughter. As a result, Victoria saw him only many years later, already an adult.
Childhood
For a long time Victoria Fedorova grew up without a father. Her birth certificate was blank. When Victoria was 11 months old,her mother was put in jail. Until the age of 9, the girl was raised by her own aunt. All this time, Victoria called her mom. The girl did not know that the real parent was in prison, she considered Zoya her aunt. When she was released, the truth was finally revealed. Since childhood, they said about Victoria's father that he died.
Study
Victoria graduated from high school. After that, she dreamed of going to study as a psychiatrist. But her mother really wanted to see her on the screen so that she would continue her creative path. And Victoria entered VGIK, the acting department.
Movie career
In 1964, Victoria Fedorova, daughter of Zoya Fedorova, starred in her first three films. But the "high point" for her was the film "Two", released the following year. On world screens, it was shown under a different name: "The Ballad of Love." Victoria really hoped that her father, whom she had unsuccessfully searched for since childhood (as soon as she found out about him), would see the picture and be sure to respond. Actually, she entered the acting department with the hope of this.
After the film that brought her fame, Victoria Fedorova starred in many more films until she went abroad. She got married in America and stayed permanently. She quickly learned English, but the Russian accent still remained. As a result, the path to the Hollywood scene was closed to her. Realizing that the maximum that they could offer her was small secondary roles (and then spies), she left her career as an actress.
Modeling career
Victoria Fedorova, whose biography was mainly connected with cinema, decided to try herself in the modeling business. She had a good figure and was a beautiful woman. Victoria for some time showed clothes of American designers on the catwalks. And she became the face of one of the well-known cosmetic companies at that time. But over time, the modeling career was completed.
Find a father
Victoria Fedorova found out that her father was alive only at the age of 13. The mother finally told her about him. And she said he was American. Victoria's expectations that her father would respond after the picture "Two", which had spread all over the world, were in vain. But she stubbornly continued to search for him.
Helped her in this Russian American writer Irina Kerk. It was the height of the Cold War between the USSR and America. The search had to be carried out with great care. Several years passed before Irina found Tate's address. She wrote him several letters, but there was no answer.
Tate was married for the third time at the time. He rose to the rank of admiral in retirement. He was not going to answer the stranger's letters, but curiosity won out. Phoned with Irina, he found out that he had a daughter. Tate was touched and excited. Having received a photo of his daughter from Irina, he immediately recognized her, since she was very similar to him.
Fedorova Victoria, an actress of the USSR, received an invitation from her father from America and tried to leave for the USA to finally meet him. But relations between the countries were rather tense, and the authorities in every possible way interfered and did not allowexit visa. It got to the point that Victoria had to convene a press conference from two American journalists at home. And tell the whole world through them that the trip to the USA has nothing to do with political views, and she just really wants to see her father.
It helped. The New York Times published an article about her. For 4 columns. After its publication, a month later, she still got a visa stamp in her passport. Observing heightened secrecy (since Victoria and her mother were constantly being monitored), she flew to America, where she finally met her father.
Loss of mother
The death of her mother was the last thread that connected Victoria with her homeland. Zoya came to America several times and was going to move in with her daughter permanently. But in December 1981, she was shot in the head in her own apartment. A criminal case was opened, but never solved.
No one broke into the apartment, Zoya opened the door to the killer herself. Because of this, there was speculation that it was someone she knew. But no one began to "dig". And the case was quietly lowered into the archive. Zoya was not even given a place in the cemetery. And all of Victoria's attempts to find justice failed. Only her closest relatives were able to ensure that Zoya Fedorova was at least buried.
Private life
Victoria Fedorova met her first husband Irakli while studying at VGIK. He was also a student. And studied to be a director. They got married in their third year. But their marriage lastednot for long. Heraclius was very jealous and on this basis he tried to commit suicide three times. They divorced in 1969.
After a while, Victoria met Sergei, the son of a mother's friend. He worked as an architect. She got married, but the marriage again failed. Victoria was disliked by her mother-in-law. A divorce followed in 1972. By that time, Victoria herself had come to the conclusion that she did not love Sergey.
It wasn't long before she got married again. For the third time, Valentin Yezhov, a famous screenwriter, became her husband. He was much older than Victoria. In addition, Valentine drank heavily. Victoria is also addicted to alcohol. Began long binges. Her mother drove Sergei away, but he did not leave. Then she accused him of antisocial behavior, and the son-in-law finally disappeared from the horizon. Victoria's next divorce followed.
In the summer of 1975, she remarried. Her fourth husband was the American pilot Frederic Puy. They lived together for 17 years. The following year they had a son, who was named Christopher Alexander Fedor. But this marriage of Victoria broke up again. The couple divorced in 1990.
Victoria died of lung cancer at the age of 66, September 5, 2012. Her ashes were scattered over the Poconos. This was her last will.
