Birth and childhood

Bruce P altrow was born on November 26, 1943 in Brooklyn (New York). The boy was quite an active child who was very fond of climbing onto the table and reciting poems out loud.

His ambition to become an artist came true in the fifties. For the first time, Bruce appeared on the stage of the theater during his school years. The boy's future was already predetermined. He began his career in one of the local theaters in Brooklyn. During the sixties he was fully engaged in theatrical activities. The audience lovedhim and always applauded him after the performance.

First steps on television

In the early 70s, Bruce P altrow tried to break into TV. He first tried himself in the field of writing scripts. It should be noted that the debut was successful, so Bruce decided not to stop there. Later he was invited to write screenplays for Screen Gems.

Follow-up projects

Subsequently, Bruce P altrow became the director of The White Shadow (“White Shadow”), broadcast on CBS from 1978 to 1981. The next task was to write the text for the TV series St. Elsewhere. The picture was broadcast on NBC from 1982 to 1988.

This time the project is called St. Elsewhere. The story tells about one of the Boston hospitals, where interns are trained. Big movie. "Killer" and "Duets"

After the first disappointment, Bruce returns to writing the script for the comedy series Home Fires, which was released on NBC in 1992. This was followed by work on a project called The Road Home. In this case, Bruce is the producer. The story follows Karen Allen as he returns with his family to rural life in Northern California.

The next successful work was the series "Slaughter Department", in which Bruce acted as a co-producer. The project was broadcast on television from 1993 to 1999. The audience really liked it, which is why it lasted for such a long time.

The story tells about Detective Giardell, who, together with his team, investigates various crimes. In addition to the murders, the love line is also affected in the picture.

Actor's personal life

Bruce P altrow and Blythe Danner met on the set of Tattinger's and have never parted since. In marriage, they have a daughter, Gwyneth P altrow, and a son, Jake P altrow (American director).

It should be noted that Bruce's relationship with children was just wonderful. In particular, this applies to the daughter of Gwyneth. The father doted on his girl, was proud of her established career and ability to get used to any role.

Bruce's death
