Humphreys Chris was born in Toronto. The family moved to the UK when he was 7 years old. All grandparents were actors. So when he was thirteen and went to school in Hampstead, Chris was ready to join the fencing team. At the age of sixteen, he became the champion of the school in saber fencing, despite the fact that he was two years younger than the rest of the participants. Trained with three types of weapons - rapier, swordand a saber. But he was especially fond of the latter, because she was most suited to his sports temperament.

Historical novels

Chris Humphreys has put his passion to good use in his writing career, which began in Vancouver with the play "Cage Without Bars". The second play, "Lights of the Moon", written by Humphreys, was a success at the Lunchbox Theater in Calgary. Chris has written eight historical novels.

Captain Absolute is a descendant of a character from The French Executioner, Chris Humphreys continued the story of his favorite hero in it.

They cover the events that took place in London from 1665 to 1666 - religious serial murders, the Great Fire of London.
