Boris Petrovich Khimichev is a famous theater and film actor. He is best known to viewers for such films as "Aty-baty", "Snow Maiden", "Return of the Resident", "Double Overtaking", etc. People's Artist of the Russian Federation. The fourth husband of actress Tatyana Doronina.
Childhood
Boris Khimichev was born in the village of Balamutovka (Ukraine) in 1933. The boy was not in good he alth and was often sick. From the age of 10, Boris began to do gymnastics and exercise with dumbbells. This helped the boy to get stronger. And already in his student time, the young man took up winter swimming. It allowed Khimichev to forget about illnesses for many years. We will return to the secrets of his he alth and good shape at the end of the article …
Study
After graduating from school, Boris Khimichev entered the Kyiv University at the Faculty of Mathematics. But, after studying several courses, the young man decided to change his life dramatically and try his hand at acting.
In 1960, Boris came to Moscow and applied to several theater schools. This strategy worked. Khimichev entered the Moscow Art Theater on the course of Masalsky. At that time it was one of the strongest classescapital Cities. In the year Boris entered, Vysotsky graduated from there. After graduation, Vladimir periodically visited his friend Seva Abdulov at the school, who studied on the same course with Khimichev. And four years earlier, Doronina successfully completed Masalsky's course. In class, she was often held up as an example as an exemplary actress.
In his student years, Boris Khimichev, whose biography is presented in this article, was gloomy and unsociable. The first 10 years in the capital, the actor lived quite modestly. He dressed poorly and was very shy about it. Only in the seventies, when Boris was actively working in the theater and acting in films, could he afford to completely update his wardrobe. Khimichev even had two black velvet suits made to order.
First love
When the press discusses the personal life of an actor, then, first of all, they talk about his many marriages. In fact, Boris was not a womanizer. The patriarchal upbringing in the village had an effect. There, if he was with a woman in a close relationship, he is obliged to marry. So the numerous marriages of the actor are simply the result of a serious approach. In addition, in his youth, acquaintance with women was given to Khimichev with great difficulty.
Boris' first love was Tatyana Lavrova. Seeing her on the screen in the role of Zarechnaya, he fell in love at first sight and could not find a place for himself. Soon Boris Khimichev decided to write a letter. In it, he declared his love to Tatyana, but sent the message anonymously.
Soon fate brought the young people together. And the acquaintance grew into a beautiful romance. Lavrova immediately "calculated"Boris and showed him a love letter. Of course, the actor immediately confessed. And then the relationship suddenly ended. It all happened at the rehearsal of the training scene. Tatyana sat with the teachers in the hall and carefully watched the game of Khimichev, who tried very hard. After the end of the show, Lavrova immediately left. Boris went to her house. The door was not opened for a long time, then Tatyana's mother came out and told the young man that her daughter did not want to see him anymore. Years later, the actor accidentally met Lavrov and asked about the reasons for such a rapid separation. Tatyana apologized and said that at that time his game seemed to her very mediocre.
First marriage and Mayakovsky's theater
In 1964, Boris Khimichev, whose personal life was very turbulent, graduated from the Moscow Art Theater and got a job at the Mayakovsky Theater. He got his own "corner" - a utility room on the top floor of the theater. Not very comfortable, but you definitely won’t be late for work. Although once Boris managed to oversleep his appearance in Hamlet and nearly ruined the performance.
Over time, the young man arranged life. The caretaker presented the actor with theatrical backstage, with which he upholstered the walls. Then Boris brought props furniture, and housing acquired a bohemian look. It was not even a shame to invite girls. Soon, Khimichev began an "attic" romance, which ended in marriage. But after a couple of months, the marriage fell apart due to a lack of common interests.
Meeting with Doronina
Actor Boris Khimichev learned about Tatyana Doronina during his studies. BUTthe acquaintance itself took place when the girl had already acquired the status of a movie star. On her account there were two major works - "Three Poplars on Plyushchikha" and "Elder Sister". Khimichev then played only a few roles in the theater, and his film career was just beginning.
Once Boris Petrovich received an offer to audition for the film “Once More About Love” (as a result, Lazarev got the main role). The actor arrived at Mosfilm, went into the dressing room and saw Doronina. The actress looked at Boris with an appraising look, mentoringly, condescendingly casually. Khimichev did not like this, and Boris left the dressing room with burning cheeks. At the same time, the actor asked the assistant director to tell Doronina that he would not audition for this role with her, much less work in the future. Despite such a statement, Tatyana still sunk into Khimichev's heart.
Their next meeting took place at the Mayakovsky Theater. In 1967, its leader, Okhlopkov N. P., passed away. Andrey Goncharov became the head of the troupe, who decided to renew the team. Gundareva, Leonov, Dzhigarkhanyan and Doronina came to them. At that time, Boris temporarily worked in the theater of the Soviet Army and returned back at the invitation of the director.
Their first joint work in the production of "Long Live the Queen!" brought them together. There were no bed scenes. The only thing is that Boris sometimes kissed Tatyana's hand. Of course, he did it with great pleasure. At that time, both Khimichev and Doronina were free, so an office romance became inevitable. In 1973, they formalized their relationship with a modest wedding.
1967-1982 films
Boris Khimichev, whose cause of death is listed below, made his film debut in the film Operation Trust. The actor brilliantly played Lieutenant Artamonov. In the future, he was repeatedly invited to detective tapes, where Boris usually played negative characters (“Black Triangle”, “Detective”, etc.). But best of all, Khimichev succeeded in "costume" roles. It was all the fault of the natural texture of the actor. Stalin's jackets, Onegin's tailcoats, hussar mentics, chain mail sat on Boris like a glove. Khimichev also looked good on a horse. The actor himself explains this with genes: his father served in the cavalry.
Boris' career took off: he starred in at least three films a year. True, the quality of the roles was not very high. The same Doronina starred in a dozen paintings, half of which were masterpieces. Khimichev, of all his roles, could not name such a five. This made him very sad.
1982
Boris Khimichev, whose filmography already included a couple of dozen paintings, had only one common interest with Doronina - work. In the theater, they were involved in three performances at once. Very often, at breakfast, the couple discussed the details of the new production. On the way to the theatre, they could talk about movie roles. Over time, the tension between the lovers grew. The reason was that they were both skittish, quick-tempered and temperamental people. And at some point, the couple realized the need for separation. The divorce was finalized in 1982.
In her interviews TatyanaDoronina spoke of Boris as the most economic, attentive and gentle husband. Khimichev did the same, calling the actress a talented, intelligent and extraordinary woman. In fact, the former spouses were very different. Tatyana liked white, and Boris liked black. She was rational and cold, and he was explosive and hot. This was one of the main reasons for the breakup. Immediately after the divorce, the actor went to work in the theater of the Moscow City Council. It was very difficult for him.
80s-90s
Thanks to his textured appearance, Boris Khimichev was snapped up by many directors. Moreover, the actor easily played both positive and negative (corrupt general from the “Hunting Season”) roles. The most significant works of those years, Boris Petrovich considered "The Desire of Love", "Fathers and Sons" and "Prince Yuri Dolgoruky". The actor was especially proud of the role of the prince.
Last years of life
Boris Petrovich Khimichev has been married five times. With his last wife, Galina Sizova, the actor lived for 15 years. In his interviews, Boris Petrovich has repeatedly stated that he is grateful to fate for such a woman.
In the last years of his life, Khimichev looked great - fit, slender, without fat folds. The actor claimed that he had forgotten about the diseases. How did he do it? Everything is simple. In the morning, Boris Petrovich worked out with dumbbells, did not have breakfast. Then a hearty lunch and a light dinner. For the last 30 years of his life, Khimichev went hungry twice a year (drank only water). The first 2-3 week fast began just before Lent.
The actor died in Moscow in 2014. The cause of death was inoperable brain cancer. Boris Petrovich was 81 years old.
