Demon Dean Winchester: conversion and healing

During the twelve seasons of the Supernatural series, the heroes of the picture, the brothers Dean and Sam, managed to go through a lot. More than once they died and came to life, but the most unexpected event in the history of the series was the transformation of Dean Winchester into a demon.

Become a Demon

Before the release of the ninth season of the series, the creators of the project promised the fans that the completion of the chapter would shock them. And so it happened, the final episode of the season surprised the audience more than once. At first, the fans were shocked by the moment where the protagonist of the series Supernatural, Dean, dies at the hands of Metatron. A demon named Crowley in the next scene begins to talk to the body of the deceased, after which he opens his eyes, which turn out to be black instead of green. The episode ends here, and fans of the tape had to wait almost a year to find out the continuation of the story.

As it turned out, due to the fact that Dean wore the Mark of Cain, he could not die, so she brought him back to life, only not as an ordinary person, but turned into a Hell Knight. Demon Dean decides to fully enjoy his new essence. As it later turns outboy, Crowley knew about what would happen to him after death, but did not tell, so that later he would be able to use his powers to solve his own problems. However, Crowley's plan doesn't work because Dean doesn't intend to follow anyone's rules and do dirty work.

Differences from other demons

Due to the fact that Dean turned into a demon in a non-standard way, his abilities were different from the usual demonic abilities. First of all, Demon Ding couldn't leave his body like other beings from Hell do. The reason for the attachment to the body was the Mark, which changed the essence of Dean.

In the first episodes of the tenth season, it also becomes known that in other areas of existence, Dean turns out to be much stronger. The demon is able to counter Abbadon's abilities, giving him an edge against her. Holy water also affected Dean differently. Like all demons, he was burned by it, but recovered much faster. In addition, Dean's strength surpassed other demons and was equal to Abbadon's, who was also a Hell Knight.

Healing

Despite the fact that the Mark turned Dean into a demon, it remains possible to correct the situation. Sam intends to heal his brother, thereby returning his human essence. To do this, it was necessary to inject purified blood into him, however, even here everything did not go according to plan. As it turned out, the blood of the person who confessed caused Dean incredible pain. For a while, Sam was certain that Demon Dean would die.

However, something happened that no one expected. Since Dean was only half a demon, human blood helped the guy get out of the demon's trap. Then the demon Ding decided to kill his brother and the angel Cas, who were in the house at that time.

In the end, Sam managed to defeat a slightly weakened Dean, and inject him with the last dose of blood. There is almost no hope for Dean's healing, but the older Winchester still becomes a man.

This is exactly the outcome the fans of the series expected from the creators of the tape. However, during the filming of the tenth season, fans came up with many theories for the continuation of the story.
