Short creative biography
Aleksey Valeryevich was born on July 3, 1964 in an intelligent family of an aircraft engineer and a doctor. Already at an early age, the boy showed creative inclinations, and his parents sent him to study at a music school, in whichhe learned to play the button accordion.
The path to the cinema for the future actor turned out to be quite unexpected and easy. In 1977, a photograph of a thirteen-year-old student of the music school Alexei Serebryakov, whose films you will learn below, was accidentally stumbled upon by the assistant director Vladimir Krasnopolsky, who was looking for a young performer of the role of the son of Fyodor and Anna Savelyev, the main characters of the most popular serial Soviet television movie "Eternal Call".
The film debut of Serebryakov was so successful that in subsequent years, the new roles of the young actor literally followed one after another. Rough facial features and a hard look of the actor were suitable for creating on-screen images of both positive and negative characters. To date, more than a hundred films are in Serebryakov's collection of films. The list of all films (the directors invited him to shoot often) is very long.
In 2012, Alexei Serebryakov, disillusioned with the prevailing social situation in the country, emigrated to Canada with his family, immediately becoming a target for immediate criticism of his actions from all sides. Despite this, the actor continues to regularly come to Russia, act in films and participate in film festivals.
Filmography
The full list of films with Serebryakov is quite impressive. In addition to the already mentioned "Eternal Call", which we will dwell on later, the first roles at that time of the beginning actor were small episodes in the films "Late Berry" and "Father and Son", released respectively in 1978 and 1979.

Having studied the brief biography of Alexei Serebryakov and the films with his participation, the list of which was presented above, we will dwell on the most iconic paintings of this actor.
1. "Eternal Call"
This nineteen-episode saga, shown on the television screens of the USSR from 1973 to 1983, told about the half-century history of the Savelyev family of Siberians, which had wars, revolution, the formation and fall of the personality cult, the change of the political system and all the rest dramatic events in the life of the country.
"Eternal Call" is a film about ordinary people with complex destinies and difficult characters living in difficult times, a film about the struggle for happiness and justice.
This tape, in which the thirteen-year-old actor played the role of Dimka, the middle son of Fyodor Savelyev, became the first picture in the list of films with Serebryakov, launching his entire future film career.
2. "Fan"
When this crime thriller was shown on the screens of the country in 1989, endless queues immediately lined up at the box office. No wonder, after all, "Fan" became the first domestic film after the famous "Pirates of the XX century", released nine years before, in which karate was shown.
For the most part, "Fan" didn't have any particularly noteworthy plot or brilliant camera work. But in it was a twenty-five-year-old muscular and invincible karateka Malysh, a newhero of the era of the 90s.
"Fan" became the first of the list of films with Serebryakov in the title role, making him famous throughout the country. It is noteworthy that before the start of filming, Alexei had never been engaged in martial arts in his life.
3. "Gangster Petersburg-2: Lawyer"
This ten-episode crime drama, which premiered on May 10, 2000, tells about the difficult fate of two former friends, one of whom ended up in Afghanistan and after returning home became a member of a criminal gang, and the other became an investigator avenging the death of his parents. To their misfortune, they fell in love with the same girl, who is the wife of a rich and authoritative man. Ahead of them was a fierce struggle for survival and love.
Among the films with the participation of Serebryakov "Gangster Petersburg-2" is in a special place. All the characters in this tape are alive and real. They are vulnerable and subject to their fears and doubts. "Gangster Petersburg-2" shows the audience the real life of its harsh era. The way her contemporaries knew her and the way she really was.
In this picture, Alexei Serebryakov played the role of the White Lawyer, the same "Afghan" who led the gang after his return to his homeland.
4. "Blind Man's Bluff"
In the further filmography of Serebryakov, the theme of the dashing 90s was continued in the black comedy of the famous film director Alexei Balabanov"Zhmurki", released in 2005.
The storyline of this tough and bloody film is based on the description of the daily routine of the criminal life of the brothers of those years. Their way of life is extremely simple and resembles a terrible game of Russian roulette. The heroes of "Zhmurok" live every day, as if pulling the trigger of a revolver already put to the temple. And none of them knows what will happen after this pressing…
This film captures the atmosphere of the 90s with amazing accuracy and is full of brilliant dialogues, and the roles in it were played by such stars of Russian cinema as Nikita Mikhalkov, Alexei Panin, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Sergey Makovetsky, Anatoly Zhuravlev, Grigory Siyatvinda, Viktor Sukhorukov, Garik Sukachev, Andrey Panin, Yuri Stepanov, Renata Litvinova, Tatyana Dogileva, Andrey Krasko, Alexander Bashirov, Andrey Merzlikin, Viktor Bychkov and Dmitry Pevtsov.
Aleksey Serebryakov in "Zhmurki" played in a relatively small, but quite significant episode for this film, playing the role of a principled and fearless doctor who produces heroin.
5. "PiraMMMida"
In 2011, the crime drama "PiraMMMida", based on the autobiographical story "Pyramid", written by the famous founder of the financial pyramid "MMM" Sergei Mavrodi, was released.
"PiraMMMida" continued the list of films starring Serebryakov.
Events are happening again on the screen90s. On the site of the collapsed Soviet Union, a new Russia is being built, and a planned centralized economy is being replaced by market relations. Frightened people, having lost their usual income and lifestyle, become victims of a financial pyramid created by a lone mathematician Sergei Mamontov, the prototype of which is Mavrodi himself. According to the audience, Alexei Serebryakov brilliantly coped with his role, embodying on the screen the entire palette of the psychological and emotional portrait of the great financial schemer of the 90s.
6. Leviathan
We continue to study the rating of Serebryakov's films. In the list of all the films of the actor, the picture "Leviathan" occupies a special and controversial place. The positive and negative opinions of viewers and critics about this film were equally divided, despite the fact that "Leviathan" for the first time in the history of Russia was awarded the prestigious "Golden Globe" award as the best film in a foreign language.
In this two-hour drama of 2014, in which Alexei Serebryakov played the main role, the famous director Andrei Zvyagintsev was able to fit the whole essence of modern Russia, calling all things, actions and phenomena by their proper names. "Leviathan", which raised almost all the current problems of society, turned out to be very gloomy, tough and hopeless.
The events of the film take place around the house of the car mechanic Nikolai, located on the shore of the cold North Sea, riddled with all winds. He is trying to take this house from the main character for his own needs.mayor of the city, and there will be no happy ending…
7. “How Vitka Chesnok was taking Lekha Shtyr to the nursing home”
I would like to end this brief review of the list of films with Serebryakov's participation with one of his latest films.
The crime drama How Vitka Chesnok Took Lekha Shtyr to the Nursing Home, which premiered in July 2017, despite its "blackness" and a rather gloomy general message, is actually an extremely kind and piercingly bright film. So much so that you don’t want to break away from his final shots right up to the credits. This picture, unusual for modern Russian cinema, gives hope that in our life, despite all the difficulties and hardships, it can still be good.
Aleksey Serebryakov played one of the main roles here, playing the former authoritative criminal Lekha Shtyr, whom his own son Vitka Chesnok took to the nursing home. And what came of it, it is best to see for yourself…
