The name of Alexander Ustyugov became known immediately after the release of the series "Cop Wars" on domestic television screens, where he embodied the image of an exceptionally decent head of the police department, Roman Shilov. Before becoming a famous and popular film and theater actor, Alexander tried out the speci alties of an electrician, a railway worker, and also an illuminator in a children's theater.

Fateful role

In the early 2000s, as a student, Alexander periodically tries himself in cinema, appearing mainly in mass scenes or episodic roles in domestic TV series. So, it can be seen in one of the episodes of the Turkish March, in the Penal Battalion, the second part of Silver Lily of the Valley.

The role of the incorruptible and fair investigator of the homicide department Roman Shilov brought Alexander Ustyugov the long-awaited fame and popularity. After the premiere of the first part of "Cop Wars" in 2005, the actor woke up famous. The series was such a resounding success withviewers, which was filmed for 11 years.

To date, 10 seasons have already been released and about 150 episodes have been filmed, but the creators still have plans to release the 11th and 12th seasons of the television series.

• "Fathers and Sons". The four-episode film gave the actor the lead role of Yevgeny Bazarov, a young critic and destroyer of traditions.
• "Return of Sinbad". In the action-packed crime drama about the fight against terrorism, actor Alexander Ustyugov played the role of Falcon's hired killer.
• "Plague". In the film about the dashing 90s, Ustyugov got the role of criminal and crime boss Mikhail Tabakov, nicknamed Tobacco.
• "28 Panfilov". The actor brilliantly played the main role of Vanya Moskalenko, a brave Red Army soldier.

During his acting career Alexander Ustyugov starred in more than 50 projects.

The talented actor is increasingly trying his hand at directing. Films "State Defense", "Serving the Soviet Union!" and "The Plague", in which he participated, were a great success with television viewers.

New 2017

Premierthe television series "The Plaque", which was released on television in the spring of 2017, became the latest project in which Alexander Ustyugov starred. The roles of the main characters in the adapted version of the French action drama of the same name were also performed by Vladimir Mashkov, Denis Shvedov, Alexander Pal.

This year it is planned to release the TV series "Golden Horde", which is currently at the stage of filming. In a new multi-part film about Ancient Russia at the end of the 13th century, Alexander Ustyugov can be seen in the role of Grand Duke Yaroslav. And lovers of science fiction, Russian cinema will delight with the presentation of the series “Better Than Humans”, in which ordinary people will live along with android robots. In one of these "human" appearances, fans will be able to recognize their favorite Ustyugov.

Passion for music

From adolescence Alexander Ustyugov was very passionate about music and taught himself to play the guitar. At the age of 39, being already a famous and popular actor, he realizes his youthful dream and creates the Ekibastuz group. The group has about twenty singles, several video clips and plans to release the first album. Ekibastuz can be heard not only in Moscow clubs, but also in large cities of Russia, where they regularly come to concerts.
