Another moment in which the demon Azazel was very actively involved: saving Dean's life. When the brothers, finally reunited with their father, were in a car accident at the end of the first season, Dean's life hung in the balance, he already had one foot in the grave. John sacrificed himself by making a deal with the yellow-eyed creature. So not longthe family stayed together, Winchester Sr. went to eternal torment in hell. But his son recovered. Revenge in the face of the brothers followed on the heels of Azazel, because they passionately wanted to take revenge on the culprit of the death of their mother and father.
