For centuries, human minds and hearts have been fascinated by painting. There are a lot of flowers and bouquets depicted on various canvases both in the fine arts of our time and in the past. During the flowering seasons, many artists draw their inspiration from the bounty of nature, and at the same moment the first sketches of real and fantasy flowers are born. Many still lifes and landscapes depicting flowers are the property of world culture and art. It is not for nothing that the beauty of a flower is compared with the vulnerable and innocent soul of a person, as well as with the beauty of a girl.
From a technical point of view, drawing flowers is quite difficult. Since in order to draw a flower correctly, you need to understand for yourself what geometric figure underlies it. Therefore, a beginner should practice drawing spirals, circles, ovals. And remember: in such work, the main thing is imagination. A little patience and attentiveness - and you will master flower painting. Flowers-pictures will delight not onlyyour heart.
From the point of view of the theory of art, the most valuable and difficult to perform flower petals. Also, most often, many artists write not one flower, but whole bouquets of a wide variety of inflorescences. The main difficulty is writing intertwining stems, petals, as well as giving a natural charm to a flower, but all this is subject to such an art form as painting. There will be many flowers!
Secrets of writing flowers
In order to try yourself as an artist, choose your nature - any flower that is dear to your heart. Do not rush to reach for a sheet and pencil. Take a closer look at your nature - consider the structure of the leaves, the stem, the flower itself. Choose for yourself the angle of view from which you want to portray the flower - from the side, from above, from below, etc. Also pay attention to the colors of the plant, tones and midtones, the presence of shadows and highlights.
Now you can take the pencil. Try to sketch the flower lightly, as the lines should be barely visible so that mistakes can be easily corrected. After the sketch is finished, you can start choosing colors and master painting. Do not spare flowers and paints for this case, so that the picture turns out bright and lively.
Watercolor
If the picture needs to be airy, it is better to use watercolors. In this case, the watercolor must be applied in a thin enough layer so that the white paper gives the drawing tenderness and transparency. Care must be taken here, because for the desired effect, each stroke can be doneonly once, avoiding errors on the canvas. Experiment with colors and tones. If your flowers are light, then the ideal background for them will be in darker colors, and vice versa. The distribution of color - towards the core of the flower it is darker, towards the ends of the petals the shade becomes lighter. And remember that the cup of the flower is the face of your drawing, and the stem is the body. An ugly face will always spoil even the most beautiful body.
Butter
After mastering the watercolor technique, try other materials and paints that diversify your painting. There are a lot of flowers painted in oil in modern art, since oil allows the artist to make the picture realistic.
It is best to start painting from the top left corner of the easel so as not to get dirty. First, draw the background, then, as the paint dries, move on to the image of the flowers themselves. When drawing a flower, shade the color from the edge of the petal to the center of the flower. The oil paints mix beautifully with each other and you can easily give your flower one color or another.
Painting is incredibly relaxing and relieves stress. And this happens not only when you paint a picture, but also when you admire it. Therefore, do not put off painting on the back burner, join the art and, perhaps, in the future your paintings will be equivalent to the works of great masters!
